But that was when Jones was running and we were biting on Barkley. Nobody should be worried about Taylor running the ball on us like Jones does. Doesn’t mean i have faith in Jack to get that point across but he should. They are almost one dimensional in that they cannot score through the air or really move the ball. They are 31st in yards through the air. We have a supposed super front 4 and we know they are going to run. There are zero excuses for us to let Barkley beat us by himself. Zero.

Without Jones I don’t see them beating us.

Re: Giants Pre-Game Thread

I don't have a prediction for who will win the game. We generally don't play well against the G-men.

I'm not going out on a limb by predicting that the defense will look average and will make Tyrod look better than average.

I do predict better game calling on the offensive side...in other words rely on the running game/screen game more so we don't get Sam killed this year, since he likes to hold the ball all day. It's truly up to EB to coach that out of him, and meanwhile, call games that accommodate that weakness.

Hopefully they get the win, but I won't be surprised at all if they lose.

I feel the same way. To me, this team doesn't have an identity. There's no way to predict how they will play in any game.

Look how well the Browns defense is playing. They shut down SF last week. Jim Swartz has those guys playing like a top defense. I would expect us to be every bit as good as they are.

I think they're literally the top defense in the NFL right now. All those years of having top 10 picks are finally paying off I guess.

With all our name changes, I guess it's appropriate that we don't have an identity.

Giants Pre-Game Thread

The Giants haven’t scored an offensive td in the first half this year. If our D lets them roll down the field and score on the first series, we will be in for a long day. Stack the box for Barkley. Get the ball out of Sam’s hand quickly. Very winnable game.
