Yeah, but he's no Jake Plummer.

On a side note, i'm starting to think McCoy is going to get drafted before Clausen.

I'm guessing you mean Trent Edwards.

His stock has bottomed out in Buffalo. I think at this point they just want to go in a different direction. JC at least is more mobile and has the bigger arm.

QB of the future is in drafts to come unless there is someone later in Saturdays part of the draft that coach likes!
Players I would look at are another OL, LB and QB. The LB's that I like are Koa Missi and Brandon Spikes, we could get a sleeper QB in the 5th by picking Kafka.

LOL, i'll edit my post. I'd think they'd view him the same way we viewed Campbell a couple years ago... or do Buffalo fans not make up as many excuses for their QBs as we do here?

I sure hope they aren't considering putting JC at LT

Hearing Benn to Rams, Mays to Vikings, Golden Tate to Bucs at this moment. Could change of course

If we trade Haynesworth and pick up a 2nd, i coudnt see us using it on Brown or Saffold. Starting two rookie OTs to protect an older injury-prone QB seems risky. i think a better option would probably be to sign Flozell (he can play LT this year if Williams needs a year on the right side) and use the hypothetical 2nd rounder on Nate Allen, Taylor Mays, or Arellious Benn.

I may have been mistaken. Might be closer to 8pm. Whatever, we should know at some point tonight. Hoping to get an update soon.

Re: Day 2, rds 2 & 3.

There has been talk on ESPN that the Saints are talking to the Redskins about Big Al. I don't know about that. Even if they gave thier 2nd and 3rd would you do that trade being they are picking last in each round?

Oh, Carolina makes much more sense. Haynesworth , Kelly, and Campbell for the Panthers 2nd, 3rd, and a 2011 pick would be nice. They could conceivably help John Fox enough to help him keep his job beyond 2010.

Wow, for a second and third...that's tempting.

The Saints D would be insane with him added to it.
