Re: Around the NFL week 12

Sounds like Jones won't miss significant time, but he's likely out a week or two. I didn't have them beating Seattle or Arizona anyway, so I don't think it changes much for them. I don't have them beating the Ravens either, so if the Football Team can win three of the last five (one of those three being against Philly) they should be in it.

Steelers and ravens pushed back to WED... Which means our game with them Sunday is in doubt

What happened to Wentz? Maybe he just needs a fresh start somewhere else.

I agree. I think his problems have more to do with coaching and scheme than his talent.

Oline injuries have crushed them. It’s reason Dallas had been terrible.

We need to continue to build and develop the oline.

But to do your point, o-cord Frank Reich left after SB and the offense has never been as good

Wentz looked bad-bad. Missing reads, missing throws. Poor feel for the game. Normally a QB doesnt lose the ability to read a defense.

His contract looks worse. Cap hit jumps to 34M next year with a ton of guaranteed money left. Eagles are 2nd worst in cap space for next year at - 64M.

They are stuck with him. I am sure that injuries have a lot to do with where they are right now, but I can't believe some of the decision making that goes on during their games. Maybe that too is a product of their injury problem, I don't know.

I don't think he's lost the ability to read defenses. As mentioned, the line stinks so that doesn't help but the coaches know this but don't seem able to scheme a plan to help him succeed. Wentz will be successful again if he's able to get a fresh start with coaches who know how to put him in a position to succeed.

Wentz lost his mojo. That contract is the definition of an albatross.

Re: Around the NFL week 12

Regardless of what his problem it sure doesn't look like the Eagles are going to suddenly get it together anytime soon. The East is a two team race now.

If Jones is out, it's ours to lose which is sad because we are not very good lol.

You're right. He'll at least miss the upcoming Seattle game. https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1333388993459875840

So fans, who would you rather have right now, Alex Smith or Colt McCoy?

Colt can beat Dallas...that's about it.
