Can you not see the guys Skillset? I presume you watched him at least three times in the three Skins vs Rams game he's appeared in? Even if you've never seen another Rams highlight you should be able to see his obvious talent.

Before we got RG3 I would have killed to have Bradford under center here.

He's not a scrub.

I seen him throwing to wide open receivers all day. Yeah that was pure greatness.

You have to take into account his throwing time, they had amazing pass protection yesterday. It doesn't mean he isn't good, but the time he had to throw has to be factored in. He isn't mobile, and we didn't hit him nearly enough. There is no excuse for that, when you consider how average their offensive line is.

Let's not forget that Sam Bradford was the first pick of the draft a few years ago. He is a talented guy who has nothing around him.

Yeah, he carved up the secondary like a Thanksgiving turkey, and we never adjusted to it.

Was he not supposed to do that? :confused-

Re: Redskins vs Rams Postgame Thread

I just think it was more poor defensive game planning and adjustments than Bradfords qb ability.

Re: Redskins vs Rams Postgame Thread

Mike Pereira, the ref guy for the league, showed how when Fisher challenged the Stephen Jackson play that not only was the red flag a 15 yard penalty, since the challenge flag was thrown before the challenge was initiated upstairs the challenge is then disallowed and the call on the field must stand. The call was fumble and we got the ball. Instead the Rams kept the ball and kicked the field goal... we lost by 3 points...

Re: Redskins vs Rams Postgame Thread

Normally, I tend to blame the team for losses, even with a bad call because the team has already put itself in the position of one bad call losing the game...but that was THE WORST-OFFICIATED GAME I HAVE EVER WATCHED. All game long. It hurt both teams but we were definitely on the short end more often.

It was embarrassing. The NFL needs to do whatever they can to get the real refs back NOW. It's hurting their product more than anything else could.

With the bad refs combined with a dirty Rams team (Finnegan and Fisher), this game turned into a hockey game early on...fights, frustration...all fueled by the blatantly-bad and missed calls. These refs also seemed afraid to break anything up between the players.

The worst was that cheap shot on Fletcher, but he avenged it on the next play.

Usually my motto is that good teams find a way to win despite officiating, but yesterday's game is completely different. Can't excuse how those officials lost control of the game.
