Tom Landry was an outstanding coach. One of the best ever...but don't tell that to people here

Landry was good. Hard to argue that. Walsh's affect on the current game is being under-appreciated around here.

Landry is top 5 no doubt. Just like Walsh.

Something happen in his relationship with Gibbs. Rypien was no stellar athlete either and before the 92 season Rypien was not very good in actual games. So before Rypien ha his break out 92 season I was surprised Stan could not beat out Rypien. I was partial to Stan over Rypien.
I am not sure what the issue was with Stan and Gibbs/FO?
I have always assumed it was Stan not working hard enough.?.?
I think a lot of Skins fans forget that Rip had some good years before 91. In 89 The Posse all went over a 1,000 yards. That doesn't happen in today's pass happy NFL. Guess who was throwing most of those balls? He was solid in 90 too and got us to the 2nd round before he choked against SF.
