Have heard that before RT @redskinsblog: Kyle Shanahan professes complete confidence in the #redskins offensive line. Media seems skeptical.

Were are not in trouble, we finaly have a QB and we have the forth pick in the draft. We are going to trade McIntosh and Montgomery for Carriker, and we will have a LT, that will start after the draft. Our new front office has already pulled off a miracle with McNabb. We are already a contender. Give them time.

There's a church of McNabb now?

Just the type of statement I'd expect from a heretic.

McNabb will do better, or at least as well here then in Philly because they didn't draft offensive linemen, there was no stability with the coaching staff, their defense never got turnovers, he was constantly changing offensive systems, his RB was constantly throwing his team mates under the bus and was a prima donna who refused to practice, the GM was deciding who played, the HC had no real power, a former bingo caller was calling the plays........oh wait, that was JC.......nevermind.

So basically Heyer is subbing for who ever we get in the draft and the starting line is Draft Pick, Dockery, Rabach, Williams, Hicks.

The middle really seems ok/average to me, how they approach the tackle positions will determine how our line performs.

I believe Mike Shanahan may be able to make a pretty good decision or 2 after he get Stephen to camp. Let's not pre judge anybody base upon Zorns obvious lack of offensive plays and Campbells obvious lack of being able to get rid of the ball. I trust Shanny and some of you guys just need to take a chill pill, sit back, and enjoy the experts who are now in charge.
Since you want to call backrow out for his opinion of Heyer, and you appear to have detailed knowledge of his progress (sarcasm)....could you at least spell his first name correctly, Stephon.

My thoughts on the right side of this line are as follows (assuming it is, in fact, plan A):

It's really fortunate that we play the AFC South and NFC North this year (plus TB and STL), as those divisions are rare bastions of the 4-3 defense (exception: Green Bay). Our best chance of stopping pressure-happy 3-4 coordinators is to hope that they are confused as to whether they should focus on exploiting the weaknesses of our RG or our RT.

Quarterbacks keep coaches working if they are good. JC made Al Saunders look bad, who was one of the best offensive coordinators out there. He kept making offensive guys look bad till they finally realized it was him.

Re: Predict Our Five Starters On the O-Line

I keep missing the part where Al Saunders has actually had a successful post-Redskins career. Although, so many people reference his greatness that he must have done something since then, right?

Re: Predict Our Five Starters On the O-Line

Although, I will admit, whoever drew up the Pete Kendall fumble-AJ Otogwe TD play is a pretty brilliant football mind. Relied on so many things to break perfectly AND it worked like a charm.
