I'd prefer to focus on offense which is more sustainable year to year.
Who is Mathis?.

Oh the guy who out injured again?

Yeah thank God we took a guy with position versatility or whatever the fuck its called for 2025 because our oline is solid. Fuckin idiots. I cannot wait until we clean house this offseason. Will be really great to have a competent staff and FO.

If Ron is still here he will pick a DL and a project LB.
Leno and Thomas are done after this year and need to go.

Re: Cards post game

So while the oline was not great, it was serviceable in pass protection. It was TERRIBLE at run blocking, but the vast majority of the sacks were on Howell. He held the ball WAY WAY WAY too long and was very slow in processing what was going on around him. Lots of slows too late and needs to learn to throw the ball around. This is Howells first game in a new offense, and second overall, so i do think he will improve and has some good moments as well.

Logan Thomas needs to be benched for Turner. Thomas has 4 or 5 drops and was horrendous as a blocker. Turner looked much better in his limited play and needs to play more.

Running game needs improvement from the oline, but also improvement from the play calling. Where were any read option plays? We need to find a way to get the running game going!!

Wylie is straight dog-ass. Give me (from left to right):

Leno, Charles, Stromberg, Gates, Cosmi or Leno, Charles, Gates, Stromberg, Cosmi.

Couldn't agree more.

Listen too Al Galdi most recent podcast: episode 653

He brought up the same thing and apparently in the scouting report on SH out of NC was that he took too many sacks.

Between this OLINE and SH, its going get ugly.

Wylie was our 3rd best lineman. Yeah, our line was dog-shit. Good to see from Leno though. He's not that old, so he's definitely a candidate for a bounce-back season.

Cosmi needs to be moved back to Right Tackle. Let Stromboli, Gates, and Wylie have a 3-man competition for the C, RG positions.

Not good overall numbers from Charles. But his pass grade was high, so I'm going to give him a pass on the run-numbers for one game. He needs to bump that 43 up though.

Wylie is just a joke. But Rivera is a bigger joke for thinking he was good enough and neglecting tackles in the draft because there was a guy with position versatility. He is just so clueless. Luckily they are two of the clowns that will be gone next year.

I would probably pin this more on EB, since he probably had some input on Wylie.

Can we stop talking about KC?
He isn't coming back.

Happy to see the team get a win.
There are a shit ton of red flags but I don't care right now.

I'm taking the approach that next year will be better.
This year, we will figure out what we have with Chase Young and Sam Howell.

Definitely did I would imagine since he came over from the Chiefs but Ron is the HC, and he is responsible for not drafting a tackle in the second.
