The whinefest by Sheehan and Thom is pathetic about the EB hire. As well as the conspiracy theories about why and how he ended up here. Joyless stuff

I don't listen to them. Who were their preferred OC candidates?

Sheehan sounded like Roman. Thom, it doesn’t really matter…he would bitch about anyone.

It's all going to depend on getting the QB puzzle solved.

I mostly dismiss whatever Thom says because he likes to just ride the negativity and get under people's skin.

But I do share in Sheehan's skepticism when it comes to EB getting passed over for countless HC jobs and landing here, one of the biggest shit hole franchises in all of sports.

Ultimately though EB really had no choice, go back to KC or break out on his own even if it meant a quasi lateral move with a dumpster fire of a franchise. He needed us even more than we needed him.

I'm cautiously optimistic on EB, the far bigger issues are at QB and ownership.

I think it’s reasonable to be skeptical, but in the same breath Ron deserves credit for getting EB and they did much better than the expect going with someone internal, or Pat Schumer. Etc.

The problem is with Roman, when Sheehan brings him up, he overlooks the fact the much better Baltimore Ravens Org fired Roman. They parted ways, so no skepticism there?

I think there is reason for excitement with the EB hire

Roman wasn't fired he resigned. Maybe he would have been fired anyway, but it's worth noting the distinction.

Totally agree Ron deserves credit for swinging big on EB. I'm sure his relationship with Reid helped.

This is the way. Hopefully both of those are solved this offseason, Howell is an unknown but he flashed a little in week 18. In another month we should be talking about a new owner as well - Ron is gambling big hoping the new owner won't clean house immediately on arrival.

" I've been in the rooms where he's been coaching and he has nothing to do w/ the pass game, right? When the plays are designed, that's Andy Reid!" - Leshawn McCoy.

OUCH. I guess he and EB aren't going to be sharing any meals or exchanging Christmas cards.

Pretty sure McCoy was benched by EB in KC. Not crazy to think he has a bit of an axe to grind there.

They also parted way with Wink Martindale? It's the NFL one year you're fired the next year you NFL Coach of the year.

McCoy has so much salt in his vag.

Let's let Bieniemy sink or swim on his own here with an open mind. Let the positivity flow through you.
