Re: Redskins -Giants MNF Gameday Thread
I think the ppl that are smoking crack about a Cooley trade forget that he's been on IR and had surgery. Don't see many teams taking a risk on that.

Re: Redskins -Giants MNF Gameday Thread
He was laughing for a good 30 seconds about the botched trick play at the end of the half and mocking Zorn incessantly. He was laughing at Millen's suggestion that the Redskins would come out and fight the Cowboys. His words weren't particularly outrageous or inflammatory; he just kept going on and on, laughing at the Redskins, scoffing at the notion that they are not as bad as they looked tonight, and seemingly taking joy in ridiculing them. As a Redskins fan, it was just painful to hear a HoF quarterback talk about the Redskins as though they are a total joke.

We have none. Devin Thomas might be a playmaker. Davis might be. Santana Moss has been basically eliminated by opposing defenses this year. That's about it -- nothing proven, just high hopes for a player or two here and there. With an offensive line worth a crap, I guess you could say we'd be better, but I still don't think there's anyone truly dynamic even with solid O-line play. |

At least we're trying to make it fun in a losing effort...I guess. Seriously, WHAT WAS THAT!!!???!!!??? I had no idea a formation like that was even legal.

Dangerous is Rabach's shotgun snaps. He can't do it.

Re: Redskins -Giants MNF Gameday Thread
So true. Actually I'm still waiting for Vinny to sign on with ESPN so they can start a segment called "Executive Vice President of Football Operations Corner with Matt Millen and Vinny Cerrato."
Today Vinny and Matt debate about how the Rams should use the first overall pick. Matt: Actually Vinny and I agree that they need to draft a reciever with that pick. Vinny: Definitley Matt, as you already know, it's a passing game and recievers are the reason teams win Super Bowls.

Re: Redskins -Giants MNF Gameday Thread
Does any one think this game may have been a test for Jim Zorn. Do you think Bruce Allen gave Zorn the go ahead to call plays the whole game. I think Bruce let Zorn run the team as any way he sees fit. I think Zorn had three games to show Bruce what he was worth and Zorn truelly shit the bed. if the next two games go completely down the drain as this one did, it will most likely be that Bruce gave Zorn enough rope to hang himself.

What if tonights offensive, offense was a result of Bruce Allen giving back the play calling responsibilities to JZ for the final 3 weeks as a fair evaluation period for JZ to blow him away and keep his job.

If this is the case JZ has really cemented the outcome of him being fired. He showed once again his poor game management skills.
