Re: Colts Officially Release Peyton Manning (QB Thread #11)
Do you spend a great deal of time stressing out and getting angry about events that have not happened and that you have no actual reliable knowledge of.......?

Re: Colts Officially Release Peyton Manning (QB Thread #11)
Thank god they are out of the running for PM, now they have to patiently wait to get RGIII with the 6th pick, the Browns are bluffing and I would hate to have them give the Rams unnecessary picks.

Re: Colts Officially Release Peyton Manning (QB Thread #11)
[QUOTE=rypper11;893829]NFL.com news: Report: Redskins already out on Peyton Manning chase
QUOTE] Honestly what I've been thinking all along. Love to have him, but playing his brother twice a year and having them knock each other out on way to SuperBowl each year would definitely not be attractive for him. Miami's situation is hard to beat, agree that's his likely destination barring surprise team. Clearly need to wait and see. If this falls through, I guess we still can throw the house at RG3. But this already is beginning to feel like the year where we tried to get Cutler - and failed, then tried for Sanchez - and failed, and then sucked with Campbell with a huge let-down all year. I definitely can't take going through this again and then living with Rex all year long.... |

I only wish I could be as emotionally grounded and internet-intelligent as you. However, I clearly wasn't blessed as you were at birth. Nonetheless, let me, with my simple mind, TRY and explain... I was simply (I thought) saying that in my opinion, I do not see us landing PM or RGIII... and that I would be pissed THEN (not right now)... and making the point that anyone of the other options are just not good enough to make us a contender anytime soon... again... in my opinion. Wait, we are allowed to have those, right? But yeah... thanks for the really needed degrading, smart-ass comment... it was very necessary.

Re: Colts Officially Release Peyton Manning (QB Thread #11)
Yeah here's the link
Manning hasn’t ruled out Redskins, yet | ProFootballTalk If only there was somebody on this board who had been saying the same thing all afternoon... Won't be easy, but we are definitely still in play for Manning and the co-front runners for Griffin As for Sanchez...I'll just leave that alone

"We're not down on Colt McCoy, so I just want to make that clear," Heckert said. "We still think Colt's going to be a good player."
Meaning "Yes we are going to try and get RG3"

Re: Colts Officially Release Peyton Manning (QB Thread #11)
The Silly Season is in full effect. This is the NFL's version of the soap opera.
I would love to see RG3 here but I am still not sure about giving up the farm for him.
