That speaks highly about Jay
its possible and hey, they would know better than me ... jays playcalling - or overall decisions more likely -- REALLY bother me sometimes, though.

Redskins trade for Alex Smith

Andy Dalton hasn’t been the same since he left. Jay knows QBs and he knows how to run an offense. I’m sure he had a big say in getting Alex here.

It's just a perfect fit for both Alex Smith and Jay Gruden in my opinion. I mentioned it long before Alex was even going to be available that if I had my choice of possible FA to replace Kirk, I'd choose Alex Smith (I'm going to have to go back and find that post!)

I think learning under Andy Reid will also be a plus for Alex.

There should be a lot of similarities in the two offenses verbiage wise and with WC concepts, should be a smooth transition.

No. Bruce and Danny clearly aren't done messing with Cousins, first it was letting all the talent around him go last year and purposely signing Pryor to make Cousins look bad, then they lied about giving him a real negotiable contract last year too the media, Jay was probably calling plays to make Cousins look bad too but was so incompetent that it turned pit looking good, and now they've signed another old QB from Reid just to spite Cousins and without Grudens input, it's the Shanahan situation all over. They'll go all offense in the draft and FA this year to make it look like the right decision. Don't be surprised if they don't send someone to hit him in the knee with a lead pipe while they're at it.

Rumor: Kirk Cousins is seeking three-year deal with $90 million in guarantees

Guy is not even a top 10 qb but wants to be paid like he is the best.

Jimmy G isn’t the best, neither was Stafford or Carr before him. You do realize you don’t have to be the best to cash in right?

Jimmy G impacted his team.

Carr looked like QB who could carry his team.

Stafford is like Cousins people talk about his numbers but wins are what matter and throwing you Megatron helped.

So if a player is good, in your eyes, they can demand top money and not be greedy?

If a player hurts his team with his contract and demands more because someone else got paid it is greed.
