Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
J. Daniels is someone you want or don't want, 100%. Doesn't seem to be a lot of middle ground. I think he'll be very good.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
This draft is deep at OT. We legitimately have a chance to draft a franchise QB and franchise OT, if we hit right.
Peters crushing the 2024 draft:

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
If we get a QB at #2 (ie not trade up) we have the ammo to trade into the top 15-20 if a one of the top 4 OTs drop. I'm thinking Latham or maybe even DE with Latu.

Outsmarting Snyder’s draft room was a full time media profession, with anxiety-ridden fans and WFT enemies eating it up.
Now it’s mostly meaningless hot takes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Kind of getting interesting with Williams
https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/...48a2e00ab61bde He does seem to be a bit diva ; with NIL he could easily say fuck it this year if he doesn’t want be a Bear

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Wow! that article is very revealing .. the wanting part ownership before a team drafts him only to find out it doesn't work that way .. his dad allready saying stuff that is red flags. It's not a good look and makes me nervous about taking him . I want CJ Stroud type attitude .

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
One thing that I would want to know about all these QB's is can they play in bad weather? Cause it is obvious that Tua can not play in bad weather. If Miami is ever to make it to a SB they'll need home field.
Obviously Brady was a great QB, perhaps the best ever, but one thing that gets overlooked is just how good he could play in bad weather. |

Yeah that’s what separates Elite from Good. Tua is a good QB no doubt but he’ll never be elite. He gets compared to Brees often but some forget Brees played in a dome for his glory years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Options and scenarios ..
I would sit tight at number 2 .. let the bears make there decision and if they take Maye then the offers will Come our way for our pick ( Williams) ..we could get a boat load of picks and probably get Fields for a ham sandwich.., If Bears take Williams I would take Maye (unless we get crazy offer from NE to move up ) we swap picks and we take Daniels plus NE 2cnd this year or next year First.. I'm just not sold on Williams.. but it's early and luckily we got TOP people making the decision.. |

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Williams has a good arm. Plays in same system Kyler Murray did in college. He NEVER has his feet set and displays poor mechanics. Holds the ball too long.
A bit taller than Murray at 6’, but noticeably slower. He often is chased down from behind, where Murray has faster wheels to get away from defenders. Couple all that with some questions of character (diva), I’m a hard pass. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYTY...xpZ2h0cw%3D%3D
