Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread
By the way, where was that fade to Hank when we were struggling in the red zone?

Maybe Rave, but who knows ,with enough reps as a starter he is bound to learn as he goes. He what, has 5 starts to his resume before his current stint with us?

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread
A lot of my Skins fan friends have already given up on watching the games or following the team in any way. I am a masochist so I will continue to watch every second of every game. Nothing new today. Just a total lack of talent on the offense. That will get fixed eventually so I am not that upset about the state of the team and I won't second guess the coaching until we have more than 2 players on offense that would actually start for any other team in the NFL.

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread
We only rushed 15 times? With Beck at the helm? I feel like this is an error at playcalling... We weren't running badly either. Helu was getting holes here and there.
All of a sudden we've turned into a pass first offense with a lame QB. *Sighs*

And when we run it is the same stretch run over and over again.

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread
John Beck is falling apart faster than Grossman did. He has relatively acceptable stats thanks to late fourth quarter drives that amount to nothing. He is scared of contact (I understand why) and has proven that after this season doesn't deserve a job in the NFL outside of a third stringer.
Roy Helu is an offensive threat, thank you for understanding your quarterback is afraid to throw the ball anywhere but to you and doesn't care if he's setting you up to get destroyed by Willis or anybody else. This guy's a keeper and if not a #1 running back, he's certainly a guy who can run every game. Hankerson.. Well, sample size... But I saw a lot more from him today than I have many of the other rookie receivers in the league. DHall.. Your time is up. You made a play today for the second time this season, but you realize that you legitimately have made TWO plays this entire year right?

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread
The Dolphins scored 31 today, we are in trouble. We can barely score a touchdown right now. Thank goodness I am out of the country for the last three weeks of the season.

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread
Well Tom Brady is a talented QB with good accuracy and decision-making skills. Beck and Rex are not, and that's the problem with KS' gameplan.

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread
Helu is really ripping himself in the post-game interview. Taking responsibility for not scoring as much. Stand up guy for a rookie.

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread
To go into a season thinking Grossman and a guy named Beck were your answers at QB is poor decision making on the part of Allen and the Shanahans.
