So Roy Helu breaks an Art Monk receiving record and Gano sets the franchise field goal record. All on a day of offensive futility

Nice looking route by Hankerson. At least he's getting an opportunity to develop this season. Could be our #1 in a year or two.

Kerrigan
Jenkins
Hankerson
Helu
Paul

These players all look like keepers, so at least the draft class is panning out to be pretty solid. Now if we can just get a QB it will make this class look even better.

Let's look at positives today. Helu, Hankerson and Hurt have come up and played pretty good.

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread

Maybe some hope after all. If Beck can develop more during the course of the season maybe things really will look a lot better for 2012. We definitely need to draft a QB, but if this guy can improve somehow he is worth keeping on the roster. If improved he would make a good backup.

I think what you see is what you get. Don't think he gets much better than where he is now. Get rid of Beck (or bump him down to 3rd string), keep Rex as 2nd string, draft a QB.
