Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie
I'm a Colts fan and a Colt Brennan fan...NOT a COWBOYS fan, I hate them and Jessica Simpson, quit saying that, why can't you all atleast have the decentcy to call me a Eagles or Giants fan, then I wouldn't be as mad

Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie
You need to go get a life and go post on the Colts blog. Your opinions dont carry any weight here because you are not a true fan. You are here to just start BS with your meaningless statements. Go root on your Colts and stay the F-away from us real Redskins fans.

Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie
Because you want our team to fail, and who wants our team to fail more than an Eagles or Giants fan? A Cowboys fan, and that's what you are.

Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie
UPDATED stats/assessment:
Cutler: WK 4 - 18/28 (64.3%), 141 yds, 2 TD, 0 INTS, 100.4 rating, 8 rush yds TOTAL: 83/129 (64.3%), 901 yds, 8 TD, 5 INT, 89.3 rating, 22 rush yds Sanchez: WK 4 - 14/27 (51.9%), 138 yds, 0 TD, 3 INT, 27.0 rating, 24 rush yds TOTAL: 63/110 (57.3%), 744 yds, 4 TD, 5 INT, 71.2 rating, 38 rush yds Campbell: WK 4 - 12/22 (54.5%), 170 yds, 2 TD, 3 INT, 70.5 rating, 20 rush yds TOTAL: 81/124 (65.3%), 963 yds, 5 TD, 5 INT, 85.5 rating, 85 rush yds Ranks: Comp. % = Campell, Cutler, Sanchez Yds = Campell (963), Cutler (901), Sanchez (744) TDs = Cutler (8), Campbell (5), Sanchez (4) INTs = Campbell/Cutler/Sanchez (5 ea) QB rating = Cutler (89.3), Campbell (85.5), Sanchez (71.2) Rush yds = Campbell (85), Sanchez(38), Cutler (22) Campbell, despite tehe bad half in the TB game, is still leading all three QBs in most categories. All QBs have an equal 5 INTs. He has more yards than Cutler and Sanchez, both in the air and on the ground. If he did not have those couple of TDs dropped earlier in the season, he'd be even with Cutler on TDs and ahead on Rating, the only two categories he's not leading. The 3 INTs vs. TB is not typical Campbell play, as he's usually one of the best QBs in the NFL at NOT throwing INTs. That performance will be an anomaly this season and he'll finish with far less INTs thrown than the other two QBs we're comparing. Also, despite a weak-looking stat line, he led all three QBs in production in Week 4. Against the same Lions team, Cambell had 200 MORE YARDS than Cutler.

Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie
This is a good win for campbell. Let's hope that the 3rd quarter of that game was the start of campbell's consistency.

I am sure the JC haters will totally ignore this..lol. Only way they wont hate is if we win the Suepr Bowl. Then they still might hate..lol. All they will say is he is a horrible QB. He sucks. Blah blah blah. The will totally dismiss stats. I think DS and Vinny created this monster by their offseason antics. Which shoulnd't have happened unless they were absolutely sure tehy were getting one of these QBs which in my opinion are not that much better than Campbell if they are at all. But people will hate JC regardless...

Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie
I kinda like the fact JC struggled but still found a way to make enough plays to help win the game. Stuff like that helps build character and it also helps build trust from his teammates. I know to a lot of fans it was simply a bad day for him, but I think in the locker room he won some new fans yesterday.

As much as the redskins were down last week, the lowest point in the last few years definitely must have been halftime with this last game with tampa bay. After being beaten by the worst team (lions) in history (in terms of losses), the team is being beaten by another winless team with a new coach and new qb at the half. And there seemed no hope at that point for the game and the season. Then campbell LEADS them back. Stats and X's and O's are cool to analyze and all that, but this is where the game is at - the heart of the game is the emotions, leaders, and all of that - that some of you seem to disregard as cliche. This is what I was referring to, back in preseason about pressure. You either let it crush you or you use it to motivate yourself and focus at what's important. To me, this is the best game that Campbell's played all season, maybe his whole nfl career up to this point because of the situation and everyone's hopes and emotions that were riding on this one game alone. I think if the redskins would have lost this game, they would have dug themselves a hole with their emotions and confidence that probably would be have been too deep to come back from. |
