I thought that Bruce was supposed to be the "professional" that kept such nonsense from happening. I thought that Bruce was supposed to be the "professional" who would realize his own limitations and hire a real GM.
I doubt BA created seperate rules for Griffin, that could only have come from one person.

Well, that could be. But my point remains. Bruce is supposed to be the "professional" who keeps the owner somewhat in line. He gets paid a lot of money to find solutions which keep Snyder happy but don't hurt team chemistry.

Totes! I don't get why anyone would by Redskins stuff at this point but they need to stop until Snyder gets his franchise on the right track.

C'mon people

i just want to play out the year without a locker room blow out. as a fan, i really like watching d jax and want to see him stay for the next few years.
From what I heard on the radio, D Jax and Garcon are very very frustrated. Garcon's frustration was obviously evident when he was asked about him throwing yesterday's only deep ball. IMO, there is no chance D Jax returns to this mess next year.

It was but it looks like the only QB that seems to give the Skins the best chance of winning is Colt (yes, its a really small sample size) and that's sad.

Where does it say that part of his job description is to control his boss. That is more like wishful thinking by all of us.

This is not correct.
RG3 was rookie of the year and an all pro.

Let RG3 be RG3 and he is a good player but probably won't last long.

The problem we have is we are trying to make him Peyton Manning or Brady.
He is not a pocket QB.

I do agree that he should sit at this point. he clearly isn't Grudens guy.

I feel JG is running him out of town so he can go with his own guy and that is disappointing.

D-Jax is on a two year contract. Has there ever been a QB who was shell shocked to making a comeback

You are correct, he isnt a pocket passer but unfortunately RG3 thinks he needs to be one.

I wonder if this is his management style or his way of dealing with the FO. If it is the latter I am okay with it. The coach should be able to decide who plays, the GM make the personnel decisions.

Re: 49ers Postgame Thread

My thinking is you give RGIII two more starts--Indy and the Rams. If he shows nothing by half 1 of the rams, he's pulled for Colt.

I don't see the great point of getting rid of Allen or Gruden now. Allen drafted RGIII, but that wasn't a crazy move, even with the trade, IMO. And Shanny certainly signed off on it, no doubt. Lots throughout the league certainly thought RGIII could make the transition, though the thought was it might take some time. He's not the first high pick QB to fail in the NFL! Shitty that we had to trade all that for him, no doubt. But at the time, were you really against it? Think back.

RGIII looks like he can't do it. But that does not mean we therefore have an o-line! Our tackles couldn't even slow the niners down at times. It's not that RGIII would be good with an o-line. It's worse: we don't have a qb AND we don't have an o-line, at least when it comes to passing. Which is kinda important in this league.

Let Allen try to pick up the pieces--bring in better player assessment folks, sure, but I don't see a better GM available for us in the near future. Stick with Gruden: the offense is sound, conceptually and I think he's got the right attitude and drive. And, again, who's out there to save the day right now? I don't see anyone better wanting to step in here.

Being a fan of this team is like getting kicked in the balls over and over again. I mean, our special teams captain hurt himself DOWNING A PUNT. WTF??? Oy.

Re: 49ers Postgame Thread

Donald Penn has been a Raiders bright spot - Oakland Raiders Blog - ESPN

looks like donald penn is panning out for the raiders at LT (at least as of october). team friendly, no guaranteed money next year to boot.

JW - good good solid post. Unlike years past when the skins have had a dispute, it seemed the fan base would be divided in half with "haters" or "homers" (ramsey, campbell, portis)

it seems like the fan base is together in their perception of this issue (i.e. wanting vinny fired)

Thats a good point. I don't think a franchise QB has been bashed harder than what JG is doing to RG3.

It will be interesting to see if Kyle and RG3 show up in Oakland or Tennessee two years as a packaged deal.
RG3 will be fully healed and rested. probably humbled too.
Kyle is in line for a HC job with what he has helped accomplish in Cleveland.

I agree that Gruden should have kept a tight end of running back in to help Moses. That small adjustment alone might have given us a couple more completions and maybe another score.
