Lmao. Im just surprised because last week i was the only person here who thought we would beat the Titans, and this week I seem to be the only person who thinks we may have our hands full against the Cowboys in Dallas on MNF. Guess that squeaker last week gave our crew some confidence.

Re: Cowboys vs Skins: Pre-Game thread

im getting the impression chico doesnt like the cowboys.

if you read past all the "they jealous" and "destiny" and "america's team" and "garrett is jerry jones' next landry" talk .... boys fans are not taking their good start or this game lightly.

Hey, I predicted a win against Tennessee too.

I just don't think Dallas is good enough that we should all be predicting an automatic loss. Yeah, their running game is good, but we've held up fine so far against McCoy, Sproles, Lynch, and Foster. Romo has thrown 6 picks and Murray has fumbled 3 times, so even our turnover-challenged defense should get one or two of those. As far as our offense, we should be able to move the ball well enough to score several times, even with McCoy at quarterback. We moved it against Seattle's defense, and the Cowboys' isn't near as good. Add in the fact that their special teams haven't been very good so far either, and yeah...

Now that I've said all this crap, they'll probably come out and curb-stomp us. But please note that I haven't actually predicted us to win.

If we'd gotten blown out in every game this season like the Giants game, while being completely healthy this season, I'd automatically expect a loss.

I personally feel we've played somewhat competitively against a lot of teams (except the Giants) and loss winnable games. I can see the Cowpukes being overconfident and walk into a trap game.

Win or lose, doesn't matter to me. I got to experience some old memories last night at the ECU game. Ran into a familiar face we all know. At least I got that going for me this weekend.

Have now heard it a couple of times on local ESPN affiliates saying Robert may play and the final decision has not been made. Who the hell is getting the reps? Are they having practice at the Pentagon? It can't.....really be a secret.

I heard he was taking reps with first team but it was doubtful he would play. Im sure Colt is taking the vast majority.

Re: Cowboys vs Skins: Pre-Game thread

Colt has gotten most of the reps but RGIII has gotten some. RGIII plays it coy in the interview below, saying both that he is in no rush to come back but also talking about "whoever plays QB" on Monday.

Re: Cowboys vs Skins: Pre-Game thread

I just read that Tom Compton is getting the start on Monday. It will interesting to watch how both he & Trent Murphy do.

If nothing else, we are getting loads of young guns some quality playing time.

Re: Cowboys vs Skins: Pre-Game thread

Lets just say for a second that RG-3 plays and just kicks ass. Like 17-24 for 259. 2 TD's. 0 Int's. 11 rushes for 106 yards. 1 TD. He carries us to victory. Can you imagine the absolute joy Redskins Nation would feel? It would be surreal.
