Re: Around the NFL week 14

By the time he goes to another team he'll likely be broken down and milking his last contract.

Re: Around the NFL week 14

Wondering if Shanny could get the boot after another loss or two?? Seems like when a coach goes down mid-season (Kubiak) other teams follow.

Mike Shanahan's regular season record in Denver was 138-86; with a postseason record of 8-5. With Gary Kubiak, Shanahan's regular season record was 114-62. One interesting note: Kubiak left in 2005 and that was the last year Shanahan made the playoffs in Denver.

And by the way, I never claimed to be good at math, even simple addition and subtraction. Those win-loss numbers might be wrong.

Firing everybody up in Houston. Bye bye special teams coach. Why can't we fire ours and shitty DC???

@McClain_on_NFL

Texans fired special teams coordinator Joe Marciano.

Re: Around the NFL week 14

It baffles me, similar to the mystery of creation, a pro football franchise would want Kyle Shanahan as an HC. Compared to coordinators also considered as potential HC's Kyle's performance is somewhere between amorphous and flat fucking terrible. Amorphous because like others have rightly pointed out nobody really knows who's responsible for what in this offense, but at the same time it's terrible because he can't produce a pro level passing attack to save his life.

The Shanahans is the most inconsistent, undisciplined and predictable offense I've watched all season (and the previous 3 seasons). There's yards but NEVER points when they actually count. And the yards are mostly between the 20's or in garbage time.

Again it just amazes me this is worthy of pro football. Pretty sad IMO. I still believe in the overall product but just have to accept factors like legacy coaches and a handful of really inept franchises explain the Shanahan phenomenon.
