Re: Patrick Ramsey better be Ready!!!!!
So did Drew Brees. Except he adapted and dominated. Ramsey just has his followers with their lame excuses for him.
I would much rather the Skins Draft Matt Leinart if he comes into the supplemental draft. He's a proven Big-game winner. |

Re: Patrick Ramsey better be Ready!!!!!
Brees took til his 4th year til he broke out, I guess you would have cut him before that 4th year because he wasn't dominating and his win-loss record sucked.
Ramsey is headed into his 4th year, let's wait and see what happens. As for Leinart he's a proven winner on the college level, big difference. |

Your ignore list??? hahahahahahahaahahahahh
I think I have proved my point: anyone that criticizes Saint Ramsey is castigated. He hasn't proven anything to me. |

Re: Patrick Ramsey better be Ready!!!!!
Warner?
Ugh How about we just commit to Ramsey for the next couple years and see how things shake out. |

Re: Patrick Ramsey better be Ready!!!!!
How about we not.
Especially since he can't win any big games at all. Let alone get the ball down the field. OH, but that's not his fault right? |

Re: Patrick Ramsey better be Ready!!!!!
SKINZ, so I'm interested to know if you would have cut Brees after his first 3 years in the league. He didn't prove much in his first 3 years and he struggled quite a bit. According to your logic he wouldn't have had the chance to explode like he did in his 4th year.

Brees at least has proven his worth. Brees competed with Flutie and won the starting job. He also made the best of a bad situation when Rivers didn't come into camp on time. At least Brees didn't throw a hissy fit (like Ramsey did when Brunell was signed) and when they drafted Rivers at least Brees didn't lose his job during camp (like Ramsey). I might be wrong but I doubt it--- Ramsey is just another Heath Shuler and we will regret ever drafting him IMO. |

Re: Patrick Ramsey better be Ready!!!!!
Brees was pretty mediocre in his first 3 years, and sorry but I'm not impressed over someone beating out Doug Flutie.
So would you have cut him based on his first 3 years? You still haven't answered the question. |

Re: Patrick Ramsey better be Ready!!!!!
Like matty said, why don't we let Ramsey settle into the current system...what's wrong with a little consistency? Some of us complain and complain that there is no consistency and then when we have the chance for it, we through it out the window by wanting new players at key positions. Let's just sit back watch Gibbs and Williams put a much better team together in their second off season together. Let's enjoy a little consistency since we have it.
