Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV)
Sorry No. And I've never ever heard either name really associated with the Redskins. Not including when Johnson was on our radar during the draft a couple of years back, under a different regime
Certainly though, it wouldn't surprise me to see Johnson at least brought in for a visit here. Honestly, I thought Smith was certainly going to be strongly considered here last year. I don't know maybe he would have been if there was no lockout, but I think that window has closed. And no to Campbell either

Through all of this one of you has been right on one...and none of you on the other (the hotter rumor at the moment)
And I still think we're in line to draft Tannehill regardless

Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV)
I feel like Schaub is one, maybe Sanchez is the other so the Jets trade him to us we trade a pick and the colts trade peyton to the jets?
I don't want anything to do with Sanchez..

Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV)
My guess too.
I want RG now, more than every, but would anyone give russell wilson a shot? If he was 3 inches taller, hes a borderline first rounder. Granted I'm going to wisconsin so there may be some bias, but nonetheless. give me RGIII or Jones if we trade down, and try to pick up Nick Toon, or Malcolm Floyd. Then, with our other (Second if we get jones) try to go after Vontaze Burfict, kids a beast. |

Re: Matt Barkley Stays (QB Draft Prospect Thread-Episode IV)
From the few games I've seen of Barkely, he doesn't seem like the kind of QB that's going to be a great NFL QB. So no big loss for the Redskins. Maybe a middle of the pack type of guy, but he doesn't have seem to have superstar type of ability.
