Great ending to the Steelers/Ravens game. Flaaco came up big time at the end. I thought he (fumble) and Smith (dropped TD pass) were going to be huge goats.

Yeah no kidding. Torrey Smith came up clutch at the end. If it wasn't for him people would be bitching about all the other Raven receivers that failed to come up when they needed them the most. Would've been the same story from last year's playoffs.

Loved the story about how Ray Lewis and Ed Reed went up to Torrey Smith at the end of training camp and told him he needed to forget the bad camp he had, and how the team was counting on him, etc.

I know, I know... but it's still fun to point out.
It was only 21 points. Kerrigan scored the other 7.

Torrey Smith, Bolding, Flacco, and the Ravens Offensive Line had a great game-winning drive there. The Steelers were blitzing left and right and Flacco was protected for most of the time. Kudos to Flacco also for moving around in the pocket at times, also Boldin had some good catches.

Good question at the end of the game, who is the dominant AFC team? I really don't think the Ravens are, but I'm sure they will be in the mix.

Yeah the Ravens still haven't been consistent on a week to week basis, but I think the AFC is wide open at this point. The only team who has played consistently good football every week this season is the Packers. At the end of the season I expect the Ravens, Steelers, and Pats (unless it turns out that their defense is so awful even a top-notch Tom Brady couldn't bail them out, as was the case today) to be the top 3 teams in the AFC. Texans will probably take the South, as they should. I think I'll go with the Raiders to take the West, I don't trust the Chargers or the Chiefs, and even though I like the Bengals I don't see them getting past a team like the Pats or one of their AFC North foes.

Let me say again... "the Rex Grossman-led Redskins scored 28."

What? They don't teach Giants fans how to read in Elementary school?

Besides, it was OBVIOUSLY a little sarcastic humor... Do you not know what sarcasm is as well??

Regardless... Sexy Rexy WAS, for a FACT, 21-for-34, for 305 yds, 2 TDs, and 0 INTs on that day... so I guess I really didn't need the sarcasm after all.

Re: Around the NFL week 9

How bout that Flacco? Ive seen a lot of people on this forum say hes not that good blah blah blah. He's no Aaron Rogers but he's a lot better then anything weve had in years.
And how bout those Bengals? I think theyve got to be the biggest surprise of the yr,where did they come from? And doing that with a rookie,we can only hope thats us next yr but this coaching staff has not given me much hope theyll make the right desicion

Re: Around the NFL week 9

Giants will win the east they have the best overall team and are on fire, Philly is too inconsistent and Dallas is a joke that beats bad teams and losses to good teams

All jokes aside ...I have no idea who will win what .As I said before I just don't believe that you guys are that far away from turning it around. This divison is wide open...we have a tuff scheduale ahead and are bound to have our end of the year crash...just how bad remains to be seen. The Eagles seem to have gotten new life ...and the Cowboys...who the hell knows?

Re: Around the NFL week 9

^ no dude the skins have no chance lmao we won't win 7 games but NY will take it IMO, they can run the ball and get to the QB better than anyone in the division

Aside from an epic collapse (like last year) I see the Giants winning the NFCE. Out of the entire division, I think NYG is the only team that has beaten another good team (the Pats, the Bills). Although I think NYG and the Skins have the toughest schedule coming up.
