Still I heard that people are so pissed that they're doing drive by trash dumps on Palmers lawn.
At least they aren't in full on riot mode burning Palmer jerseys in the streets like they did when Bron Bron left.

Bress, Bradford and Ben R. played in 4 and 5 wr sets were the emphasis was throwing the ball downfield, not the type of spread that Florida, Aurburn and Texas run....where the QB is running just as much as he's passing. McCoy didn't play in a true forward pass type of offense. The jury is still out of Tebow and McCoy. Both guys have only played in a handful of games.

I remember watching Heath Shuler in college and he played in the same kind of offense that McCoy did and that's who McCoy reminds me of.

Ohio will be fine without Palmer... Head west young man. The Bengals will just play his kid brother. OSU basketball isn't bad either.

Is that a pile of crap on Cutler's jersey?

I don't think so, but look a the magazine page the guy is handing him to use as a fire starter. Definitely something most men take to a football game?!

Your going to be wrong on Tebow, guy is a STAR in the making..

Cam is raw no doubt but he has all the tools to be like a "BIG BEN" type qb.

And thats a bush league excuse.. Spread is a spread.

Sam Bradford ran a SPREAD, also won a heisman and I think he turned out pretty good right?

Why would you go after Palmer? He has looked like crap the past two seasons. He is an interception machine. I would rather hang on to Donovan than bring Palmer in here. Sure the Bengals are a messed up organization, but so are the Skins, til they really prove that they are turning the ship around. Palmer had a lot of talent to work with and he just sucked this past season. Yeah, both Ocho and TO sucked at the end of the season, but TO put up really good numbers til like week 12. At least Donovan could get to the big dance, Palmer hasn't come close for awhile.

Exactly. Besides there might be no football next year so instead of getting a 31 year old Palmer we would really be running the risk of having a 32 year old that will turn 33 late in the season.

Why, that would be giving up a beast for an overrated QB!! You wouldn't be getting a fair trade on that(AH for Palmer). Guy has been surrounded by talent his entire career and rarely has done anything in term of winning titles, division or otherwise.

Guy deserves to get lit up. The 3rd stringer showed more talent and heart than Cutler did on Championship Sunday.

Re: Carson Palmer demands trade, threatens to retire...

Just for giggles, here are the QBs who have won the Heisman Trophy in the last 50 years.

Sam Bradford
Tim Tebow
Troy Smith
Matt Leinart
Jason White
Carson Palmer
Eric Crouch
Chris Weinke
Danny Wuerfel
Charlie Ward
Gino Toretta
Ty Detmer
AndreWare
Vinny Testeverde
Doug Flutie
Pat Sullivan
Jim Plunkett
Gary Beban - - drafted by the Redskins by the way
Steve Spurrier
John Huarte
Roger Staubach
Terry Baker

The jury is still out on Bradford, Tebow, Troy Smith, Leinart and Palmer. Of the retired ones, only Plunkett and Staubach amounted to much in the NFL.

Touting a QB as anything close to a "sure thing" for the pros based on his winning the Heisman Trophy is not supported by data.

Agreed, no sense in getting Palmer. If we wanted an old washed up QB who was pretty good a couple of years ago -- we could stick with McNabb.
