Holy cow! For a team not recently notorious for big spending, Dansby and Marshall certainly changed that! I just pray for conduct clauses (a lot of them).

Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
The college players that would normally enter the draft basically would be like unrestricted free agents

Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
It now looks like the Dolphins overpaid. Is he the best WR in the league? He could be one day but not right now. I don't think the miami nightlife won't help his cause.

Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
Is that just that year? So that means we could get the top 10 players that year. I dont know if thats a good thing. I mean I'd love to get Suh, Bradford, Williams, Okung, Spiller, and so on. That could easily ruin the league.

Belichick must be seething at his former understudy.
Perhaps Eddie Royal will rebound in fantasy football.

Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
Wow. Phins really needed this kind of playmaker, and their offense is really going to benefit. They are instantly going to contend for their division because of this move.
I went to the Saints game down in Miami this year, and the lack of WR play was just embarrassing. Also I read that they might go TE in the draft first round because there were no good WR's, so they would take the best receiver. Hopefully this won't be the case. If RB is healthy next season, dangerous.

I wouldn't bet on any Broncos at this point.

Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
Don't you mean overstudy? Parcells is a lot of things including the fact that he's "not worth s**t" but he's no Belechick understudy.

Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
Ok, are you ready for me to burst your bubble?....
I was going to put a nice rumor out there that basically said Miami traded with Denver to get Marshall in order to package a trade with us to get ahead of another team in the draft so Miami would be assured to have gotten the drafted player first.... in other words: Miami trades Marshall and their #12 pick for... Redskins #4 pick. I couldn't do it though. I could imagine after everyone read it me saying no I'm just BSing you all would be pissed. lol. Sounds good though, but won't happen. |

Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
it's one thing to obtain picks but it another to use them correctly on talent. This will be McDaniels draft to show he is a good talent evaluator.
That trade would be terrible for the skins! It would send us into future cap hell!

Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
I think he might have been talking about McDaniels. Perhaps for sending Marshall to the AFC East?
