Hall hasn't exactly done anything to make me say that he's undeserving to start, but most teams make you earn your way onto the field, and this team has basically handed a future role in the defense to him in a handbasket.
I don't think Roger's is being handed the starting job.
I think that Rogers recent struggles are part of the reason why Hall is getting the start.
Rogers play seemed to decline after that dropped pick against the Steelers. He later gave up an easy TD to Holmes using off coverage on the goaline(I wonder if it was the defense design to be in off-coverage, but i don't understand why he would play off-coverage near the goaline).
Got toasted on a double move in the Ravens game when he was in 0 coverage and knew he wouldn't have safety help.
Then against the Bengals he was on the goaline in off coverage and barely put up a fight and gae up a fade route TD.

He won't be eligible for the practice squad but can he work his way onto the roster next year as a dime back/kick or punt retuner?
That's a good question. He was one of the players I thought could have been released, then send someone else to the practice squad so we could have retained Torrence. I'm not sure what they see in him. He's young. Maybe they think they can coach him up?

D Hall has already had a couple picks for us...just sucks our offense couldnt make the turnovers worth while.

if springs was healthy...
I think Hall/Rogers...Springs/Hall....Hall/Springs...Springs/Rogers....these are all good CB tandems...we should use the nickel package more.

Sounds like as usual CP will be ready for duty come Sunday at 4:15

ESPN - Portis sits out practice with back spasm, but should play; Jansen likely out

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles week

Well I know a lot of us aren't real excited about this game. Just wanted to post that I'm def watching. Haven't missed one all season, even saw my first game @ FedEx, so I want to stay "perfect." Also really believe this is an important game. Means so much whether the guys fight their guts out for team, coach and fans or just continue to regress. We're looking for pride now and I for one feel like if I see pride these last two games the season turned out ok. No pride... i don't want to go there.
