I have to believe that Golston beefed up in the offseason to be able to play the run, as well as the pass. Between Golston and Montgomery, I think we may have enough run-stoppers if those two play as well as the coaching staff thinks they can.

Golston was not that good against the run last year, and I really think this weight gain will only hurt his game. However, the experience he has added over the offseason should more than nullify this effect. I just think he would have been better playing at a more "natural" weight. Assuming of course that he was told to gain weight by the coaches. |

I will miss Big Joe but injuries and age just weren't on his side. Sounds like they have plenty of confidence in the young guys, which is a good sign.
