Hmm, good point. Reminds me of those easily manipulated youngsters who join gangs just to be part of something. Redskins were closest, then they get another team and it makes them feel even more at home. I know that I for one, no matter where I live or if Lexington Freakin' Virginia were to get a pro team, I'd still be a Skins fan.

i'd have to agree with the ones on hear that say keyshawn is a good pickup for the panthers.

keyshawn will, at least, demand attention from the opposing team. keyshawn will also run routs across the middle, allowing smith to have less coverage down field.

personally, i do not like keyshawn, nor do i think he is a great reciever but he is definately an obove avarage wr that will help a offense that was close to going to the superbowl.

Johnson called WR Steve Smith "the most dominant force in the NFL at wide receiver" and said he was looking forward to lining up next to him. "I didn't come here to catch 100 balls," Johnson said. "I came here because I feel Carolina is the team with the best chance to get to the Super Bowl.''

KJ had 839 yards last year, he's NEVER had less in a full season. the panthers #2 had 440 yards with a better QB. that means this i an upgrade that should help the team. Keyshawn will be lucky to have 700 yards this year. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if Colbert has more yards than him. Colbert had a solid rookie year and at least he can improve.

I remember towards the end of the season last year when the Packers picked up ol' 50/50, I saw him make this catch and then jump someone and then I get sad to think what might have been...

...if he would have been good.
