Rooting for the Dallas Cowboys should be recognized as a treatable mental disorder.
As far as rooting for the Cowboys being an abnormal behavior or personality disorder, yes Lotus, great idea! LOL. I will do my best to have this added to the upcoming DSM-V (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) next edition, soon to be published. Too funny. p.s. +1 for Ms. Hathaway.

Jarvis Moss was a risky pick for Denver, but they selected him anyway and got burned for it. Shanahan's evaluation of talent is what eventually got him fired in Denver. This is the same guy who wasted a 3rd round pick on Maurice Clarette. I don't consider a QB taken in the 2nd round a top prospect. Top prospects are those picks taken near the top of any NFL draft or who are projected to be there near the top of a draft. I consider Eli Manning, Big Ben, and Phillip Rivers top prospects.

As I said, it doesn't truly matter because it's past tense and Cutler isn't even in Denver anymore and neither is Shanahan. What difference does it make in 2012? Does that justify enough assertion for you? And lastly, I don't agree with your claim that I place myself on some pedestal. How is that? As far as this year's draft, we can't truly grade the Redskins or the other 31 teams yet because we don't know which draft selections will pan out.
You asked a question, I gave an answer.
Quote:
If Mike Shanahan really liked John Beck as much as he said he did back in 2007, why didn't he draft him?
So, I'll answer it again in even simpler terms: he valued Jarvis Moss more highly than John Beck. My previous answer gives more definition to what "valued" means, but that's the main point. Those three reasons provided in my previous answer, according to you, do not matter.

But since you do not care, why bother asking the question?

And your use of "it does matter" here is different. Now, it's the entire subject that does not matter instead of Cutler's presence, team needs, and Moss having higher value.

Exactly, someone needs to discuss how we are going to fill the mullet void left by Beck's departure.

re: John Beck cut...signs with Texans

Lets get this hijack started, for the love of god.

Let me start by saying I was at Fedex Field on Saturday for the draft day party, and I was 1 for 1 in field goals made vs. attempted, so if Gano and Rackers both suck I will consider trying out, if for no other reason than maybe they'd give me a free tour around Redskins Park.

Secondly, I will lose all remaining respect for everyone on these boards, if they should declare that pepperoni pizza isn't acceptable.

Thirdly, I'd rather watch paint dry than continue discussing John Beck.

Fourthly, if you think Cousins has any chance of beating out RG3 at any point in the next 3 seasons, you are nuttier than poop with a lot of nuts in it.

Fifthly, The Wire (whose series finale I just watched) is an excellent tv show and I demand that you recognize it for its' excellence.

Sixthly, flavored vodka is an acceptable drink any day of the week. My personal favorite is watermelon vodka.

Seventhly, I was just in Baltimore for a concert on Wednesday, and I feel like nothing has changed there.

Eighthly, I have to get up for work at 5 am, so I won't be on much longer.

Ninthly, **** the NY Rangers and the LA Dodgers.

Tenthly, if you can't garner at least one potential hijack from all the points I've made above, you are a terrible person.

Peace. I'm out.
