Im guessing hes one of the top 5 highest paid Coordinators.

Good for us. Not sure it adds a W to our record next year but it should be interesting to see a new philosophy.
I've been saying from the start I wasn't buying this "no qualified guy would want to come here" narrative, there are only 32 NFL OC jobs on Planet Earth, we have some very exciting offensive weapons, if we fix the OL this is a good spot to be in. And the ownership situation doesn't make this job that much more uncertain than any other OC position. A bit more uncertain ? For sure. More uncertain to the point you'd turn down the job? I don't think so, and a guy who's been viewed as a future HC for several seasons thought so too.

I wish him WELL but Washington don’t let the chiefs SUCCESS or coaching titles fool y’all… the traits or skills you need to be a good coordinator I haven’t seen or WITNESSED it …

But but no one else offered EB a job.

I am glad we have him but the jury is definitely still out.

In my mind EB and the Ravens, assuming they get #8 back, was a match made in heaven.

Heard about this yesterday too, and that a lot of the veteran players did not care for EB because he apparently is really tough on his players and a stickler for perfection. I am sure this will be a big left turn from the way Scott Turner coached the offense, but then again...they weren't that good so, put up or shut up.

McCoy was a diva both in Buffalo and KC; EB is known for being tough as nails coach with anyone, so you do the math. For every Shady McCoy or Leveon Bell who whine about the way EB coached, there is a Jamaal Charles and Adrian Peterson who appreciated EBs coaching style and sing his praises.

If it was Jay Gruden's team and EB came here, yeah, I'd be scared that he would disrupt Club Jay. While Rivera might not be as outspoken, he doesn't put up with shit either. Regardless of how the team has performed the past couple of years, if anything, you could say it's more of a "team" atmosphere with peeps like Allen and Terry holding people accountable.

I get the feeling that this is either going to be a home run type of hire, or it's going to be a total disaster. No in between.

I think EB style fits in perfect with Ron and JDR. Turner always seemed to be doing his own thing.

When I hear someone like Shady McCoy criticizing EB….it doesn’t make EB look bad, it’s a reflection of McCoy. Everyone and their mama can see McCoy was just another diva bitch who demanded special treatment

I don't like my O.C., he cares too much about attention to detail. Lol. Damn coach, stop trying to win so much!!

I think EB told McCoy that his skills were in decline and that he was washed up, which was the truth. I remember at that time he wasn't playing that much and didn't like it.

Speaking of Jamaal Charles, his response to McCoy bad mouthing EB:

@jamaalcharles
I have to disagree with you Shady. Bieniemy Coach me 4 years I learned so many thing for EB and I still keep in contact with him a great husband and father. He deserves to be a head coach.

I would certainly think so. I mean, I would think that's a trait of most good coaches.

He must be a bad interviewee or something... But he's still a regularly talked about HC candidate, to me that topples low key profiles that supposedly we couldn't do better than. You're right though, the jury is still out. And the fact he took this job tells me he knows it to some extent.
