Re: Who is the one underdog you're rooting for to make the team?
Marcus Mason, Byron Westbrook, Tavares Washington, in that order. I like a lot of the fringe players though. Mann, Matterral Richardson, Rob Jackson, to name a few...

I like Moore. I really want to see what he can do. The redskins talk about him alot and I have not seen him play.

As for the rookie who I'm pulling for.. I'm pulling for every rookie but since u asked for one rookie.. I would be pretty surprise if Horton and Moore doesn't make on the team since they are pretty high on them, especially Moore.. Colt Brennan looked good (so far) and will be on the team.. So I'm going to say Rob Jackson.. |

Devin Clark.
I'm surprised how many votes Westbrook has, he has always looked totally inept whenever I have seen him.

I don't know if it's because he can't get open, or what, but Mix had ONE GOOD play....and he's a strong guy. I really hope they give him a fair shot.

I'm now adding McMullen to my list.

Fo sho. I really like McMullen's size and skill set. He just needs to get a little better each day. I'm still captain of the Marcus Mason fan club though...

I wasn't a fan of Mason's fumble, funny I don't recall seeing anything about it in the game thread. Guess this guy is teflon right now.

I really want McMullen to not only make the team but make it tough for the rookies to break into the lineup during the regular season.

Re: Who is the one underdog you're rooting for to make the team?
Erasamus James AND Chris Wilson AND Marcus Mason.
I dont know how they find a formula to keep them all but I'm already sure Wilson and Mason are Skinsworthy. We need James because we need a mid-long term solution at DE and Wilson will always be situational, James at least has some potential to develop into an every down end....he will need to pack on pounds contrary to his current direction

Re: Who is the one underdog you're rooting for to make the team?
As much as everyone is high on mcmullen right now, it was just 1 game of solid performance against weak competition...the Bills defense was 31st last year...and this was their 3rd string at best.
The reality is in order to keep Mason...which I believe they will, I dont think the skins will keep 6 WR especially considering we have 3 receiving TEs. Also, I really think Dline Depth is very important now We will definately have to find a way to keep James or Wilson if not both, no way we can do that with 6 wideouts. Remember, it is the Dline that we lost 2 vets

Re: Who is the one underdog you're rooting for to make the team?
Yeah, it was an obvious mistake, but I don't think the guy has a ton of experience returning kicks either. If he put it on the ground a lot while running on offense I'd be more critical. I'll write this off as an aberration until I see it again.
