Phidarian Mathis "guys got used to losing... we need to have more guys with winning mentality mindsets and don't be satisfied with losing." Not trying to single him out here but he needs to start with himself first and foremost. He is dangerously at risk of getting cut. His final stats for the year: 10 games played, 8 total tackles, 2 solo 6 assisted, 0 TFL's, 0 sacks, 1 qb hit. Every single time I focused on him he was getting his ass beat. He preached some good talking points there but dude just went 10 games without putting a single highlight on film. My guy you better go hang with Aaron Donald in the offseason or some shit. ---------- Pt. 2 of offseason quotes from the players: Cosmi with this nugget: Quote:

Little late but thanks. I try to be concise with where I'm getting my info from. Twitter as a whole sucks but I find it very useful for sports reporting.

What’s the term? Position flexibility? The most useless thing in the world is a well rounded person, same is true with NFL

2024 Commanders Off-Season Thread
https://wisportsheroics.com/green-ba...n-trade-rumor/
I would trade him for a second and a fourth. Would be 11 picks with 7 in the top 100. He is a whiny m-f’er. Made it pretty clear he didn’t want to be here and that was well after he knew changes were coming. Too bad Mathis was another terrible Ron pick or it would be an even better scenario. |

Re: 2024 Commanders Off-Season Thread
This has definitely been a top 5 year out of the last 30 years. It's sad that it's true, but it's true nonetheless.

Re: 2024 Commanders Off-Season Thread
The cowboys are in a bad situation there. To paraphrase Fred Smoot there are 8 billion people on the planet and we can't find 32 to be decent NFL quarterbacks. So when you have someone that is functional you have to pay them
