Re: 10 Favorite Redskins That No One Else Knows About
I'm going to go with Reggie Branch. Not because of his stats, or lack thereof, but because of this story:
While tailgating before the 2004 Redskins/Eagles game in DC, some Eagles fans Reggie knew caught up to him in the parking lot. Apparently he'd bet them in the first game that year that the Skins would win, and since they lost, he had to wear a T.O. jersey into the stadium. He had his 1987 Super Bowl ring on, and since I'm a loudmouth. I yelled "Reggie, you can't wear an Eagles jersey and a ring at the same time!" He replied, "You're right," and handed me his ring. It was the heaviest piece of jewelry I'd ever touched. I had it for about three minutes before he took it back. Totally worth it.

Him and Bettis were monsters to stop in the option game on NCAA '93, I think.

I know he wasnt a player, but I bet alot of people dont know Vince Lombardi was our coach in 1969 - and on top of that completely turned the franchise around.........

Danny Buggs. Havent heard that name in a while. Awesome. Alot of these guys were pretty damn good players for a long time with the skins. Isnt this supposed to be players that totally flew under the radar in b&g. Either way this list is awesome!
