Re: Redskins Vs Panthers - Lets break it down

We go into the bye week on a high note.. The offense is going to put up yards and points after a couple of shaky weeks with turnovers and sloppy play.. LaFell should be out for Carolina and they haven't gotten their running game going so they are pretty one dimensional.

31-10 Redskins in a runaway..

Yes! He's got speed..hands..and he's hungry to prove himself. Hope he's targeted often and makes some big plays.

Roger Goodell criticizes DeAngelo Hall's referee tirade - NFL.com

Punishment is coming today possibly so wondering if we might be short a CB?

Redskins 38
Panthers 17

Panthers score a late garbage time TD.

I'm thinking just a sizable fine.

If he had actually made contact with a ref...yeah, he'd be gone.

Players and coaches curse at refs all of the time...maybe not as dramatically as Hall did, but it's a routine punishment.

Can't remember where I read it yesterday but the league will suspend a player at the beginning of the week so as to give the team time to get a replacement ready.

Huge fine and a warning. I think Hall was fairly restrained given how pissed off he was.

Re: Redskins Vs Panthers - Lets break it down

Really just want to see the Skins play solid, that would be refreshing.

Skins 31
Panthers 28

I expect this to be a Tampa kind of game, where we get up early 21 or 24 to 10, and then our offense stalls and our defense lets them back in the game. Pretty much the script for this year, until they prove otherwise.

Re: Redskins Vs Panthers - Lets break it down

There's a stat out there that teams going into a bye playing against teams that aren't have covered like 10% or 15% of the time. SO if you're a betting man take Carolina plus the 3 and a hook.

I just remember last years game where they just abused our HEALTHY defense. We also don't really have a home field advantage. Should be a 3 point game either way.

Now that Hall told his side I think a fine is all he should get. Goodell needs to worry about how awful those refs called the game last week, not that DHall cursed out a ref. They missed multiple holding calls and a couple of crucial PI's. That crew last week looked like the scab refs IMO.
