Yeah our coaches have proven they can jump right through the holes to the tune of a 3-8 record

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

honestly, i can actually see the skins beating the saints. Every year, no matter how bad we are, we manage to beat a team that's much better than us and lose to a team (or usually, alot of teams) that are just down-right awful. This year, i think the saints are the good team we beat.

LOL! If you're not joking you might deserve a ban for that one.

The cornerbacks they threw at Welker and Moss weren't even in the league a few weeks ago, and Gregg Williams had them playing lights out. Their defense's tackling was phenomenal (holding the Pats to 17 is a VERY good defensive performance).

And what can you say about that offense? Brees threw 5 TDs to 5 different players and had a perfect passer rating. His accuracy is out of control, and they have a solid compliment of RBs to boot. They are a complete team. They've only scored UNDER 30 points 3 times this year (24,27,28).

Their remaining schedule:

@Redskins
@Atlanta
Dallas
Tampa
@Carolina

IMO they're 15-1 at worst. Dallas could maybe beat them. Anyone who thinks the Skins will beat this team is smoking some serious crack. I'll be covering my eyes and peeking through my fingers for this one. Their coaching and team leadership (Sharper, Brees) won't allow them to look past anyone. Plus Gregg Williams wants to kick our butts I'm sure.

Maroney had a solid game. But Tom Brady was also held without a TD pass. Don't forget the Pats were second to only the Saints offensively heading into that game. They can move the ball and score. They also got outscored more than twofold by New Orleans.

I'm just having a hard time wrapping my brain around how you weren't impressed by the Saints.

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

Closer than some may think, but there style of play is just more of an attack style while we shy from making mistakes.... so we lose another last drive game!!!
I would love to see the Skins play like they are 3-8! and leave nothing in the tank and take all the chances they have and not leave any bullets in the gun!

Saints 31
Skins 28

P.S. there are a couple injuries that could make he game closer or even more lopsided! Is Haynesworth going to play? With out him we look average at best...All the early season talk of his play was nothing more than an analysis of his pockets!! With him not in the lineup, I would say He has been doing a good job all year cause now we are not getting as much pressure!

Is Hall going to play? I am not sky high on Hall but he is better than Smoot!!!! We are going to need all of our DB's to play tight! Tryon is looking better these days...not great but decent!!!

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

I want the same things I've wanted in the previous weeks. I want to see the team play well and play hard, only to loose by a few points. I don't want Snyder to have even the slightest reason to retain Vinny as Executive Super Intendent of Fantasy Football but at the same time I want the team to be good enough to attract quality talent evaluators and coaches in 2010 and on top of that I want the team to have some confidence going into next year. If they just got killed on a weekly basis it wouldn't serve well for the team going into next year. However if you loose close games to good teams you're not totally deflated and you play with a chip on your shoulder.

Dude I was joking and my coments about the holes where the plays the Saints made. I would not be surprised if the Saints did not make it to the SB with a 15/1 record in the regular season. Last night I was very impressed but I also have not seen much of either team so its hard for me to tell if the Saints are that good or the Pats not all that good.

In typical style we will win 13-10 and mess up our draft positioning
