Re: Around the NFL Week 13

Yeah watching other teams really makes you realize how awful we are. Ron may be the worst HC in football

His stint in Washington has been a laughable failure. Whatever success he had in Carolina, big or small, didn't translate here in Washington.

6 outta 9 losing seasons. Superman took him on a couple rides. So Id say very small in terms of success.

Re: Around the NFL Week 13

We need Cincy to win or tie. Basically would take them out of the equation as far as jumping us in the draft.

Jake Browning wins a huge game for cincy !!! He had time.. He had coaches … He had HELP from his teammates … Sam Has NO HELP at all ..This is indeed the worst coaching staff ever … maybe Urban Meyer level!!! The players have quit on Ron because they know how bad he is ..Jay Gruden , Scott Turner and every coaching staff we have had that I bad mouthed I take it all back .. they are light years better than this…Good luck Josh Harris .. your gonna need it !

Browning was 29/34 340 yards and 2 TDs.. That dude can play in this league. He may get some phone calls this off season.

Re: Around the NFL Week 13

The Jags , Texans , Dolphins and Lions have all turned their franchises around from being dumps to contenders in a 2 year span.. And those teams are not Loaded like Philly or SF. It takes a QB and a good coaching staff. Goff isn't elite but hes a good starting QB. The other 3 are Elite level QB's.

90M
High rd draft picks

Anything can happen if you get the right GM here

Yeah, but like you said, at least two years. Turning this thing around by next year is a pipe dream. Improvement - maybe. "Turned around" - no.

Not to pick on you....

But this is the problem with QB evaluation in this league

1 good game = GUY IS THE NEXT MONTANA !!!!

1 INT= what a fucking bum guy is a complete waste of a pick

This is why I keep saying with SH you got see a whole season from him.

Browning been in the league since 2019 has played in 4 games half of his career yardage came last night, not sure the phones will be burning up this off season off of just last nights performance

Now if he propels CIN into the playoffs off of good QB play then maybe so.

Again, not picking on you skinsfan its just all the knee jerk reactions to QB play in this league is so gear grinding.

Re: Around the NFL Week 13

The “other” factors is so important when evaluating QB .. how is the Oline,Play calling,Drop passes/wrong routes,Playing from behind/no D, Running game/ team speed.. the list goes on and we are are bad at most of them … think Browning would have played well with this teams short comings .. I don’t in fact we are so bad there is really no way to know what Sam can be .. Purdy on Washington ?? How would he do ? My bet is not good . He would have plays where he would wow you ( just like Sam) and then he would look bad ( just like Sam) .. no way to really know because everything around the QB is broke .. the only thing anyone can truthfully say is Sam is tough as nails and won’t quit and CAN when given fair opportunity make plays …

exactly and i have said this before

SH> purdy

put SH on SF he shine just as bright as Purdy so would a lot of other middle of the road QBs

which begs the question, do you find a middle of the road QB and build a powerhouse around him

What is more of a unicorn? the franchise QB or the top to bottom solid team built like SF

Which unicorn do you chase?

For sure, and I agree with you 100%. He's a solid option to have, similar to a Heineke IMO. He can start for a bad team but no I wouldn't say hes Joey B lol

So much of SF success can be brought back to Kyle, too. If you're going the SF style route you'd better have a hell of a HC and staff to go along with that talent. Tough call.
