Joe McKnight = JET KILLER. Should've went out of bounds instead of fighting for more yardage.

Good job by Tebow and kudos to Fox for adjusting his scheme to fit his QB. Although, if TT doesn't learn how to throw with some accuracy, he'll always be a gimmick QB.

Is it bad that I'm rooting for Tebow to fail? He's so overhyped. And I doubt he can win games his whole career the way he is now.

Spread-Option offense is the new wildcat. A college-only offense that was taboo in the NFL winning games. Of course few QB's can handle the beating Tebow takes, but as long as it's working might as well use it. But I agree, eventually he's going to need to pass otherwise they're going to have another Detroit like game.

Right now though the Bronco's match up great against defense first teams.

From what I have seen, Tebow is actually quite "smart". He's good at making reads when he runs or passes. If he made a misread, the drive stalls. The only thing stopping him from being a complete weapon is his accuracy.

Re: Around the NFL Week 11

I'd take Tebow over any of the sorry QBs we have. It ain't pretty, but he's 4-1, and my gosh his teammates love him. They love going to battle with him. And he just wins. Who gives a crap about anything except winning? #tebowingrightnow

So proud to be a Gator. Go Tim, go. Love you man.

I'd take him just for his great locker room presence.

Re: Around the NFL Week 11

Tebow is impossible to stop in that five minute situation. It's kind of like playing Aaron Rodgers in that five receiver spread. You can try whatever you can to take away Rodgers' throwing windows, unfortunately he's also a great runner.

You can try to force Tebow to run between the tackles for three yards, but that opens up a gaping seam in the middle of the field to pass into. It's like Mike Vick learning how to throw the touch pass. There's just not enough players on the field to defense it.

You can beat the Broncos easily still: score 30 points. Then Tebow will be beaten by the clock. But if you're not going to score on the Broncos, you're not going to beat them. Tebow just does it backwards, which is something the world is just going to have to get used to.

Re: Around the NFL Week 11

The real story is that Denver's special teams and defense are good all of a sudden, but I think that's going to get buried under the storylines centering on Tebow being a winner and the Jets being underacheivers.

For sure. Prater is money, and the pick six off Sanchez was huge. You gotta wonder, though... All of sudden their special teams and D are stepping up, right around the same time Tebow takes the reigns... Coincidence? Probably not. The "it" factor shouldn't be downplayed.

But that D has some ballers. Von Miller, Elvis Dumervil, Champ Bailey, Brian Dawkins... Not exactly suckers.
