A weekly PS paycheck, or a weekly league minimum paycheck...

He may not want to come back but something tells me that he would if offered.

We don't need a 4th QB.

I like tha Gannaway suggestion. He'll know some of the playbook already (the Baylor part) and RGIII's tendancies...plus, any RB can succeed with Mike Shanahan it seems.

We are thin at RB.

Why not? Was he unhappy about being buried on the depth chart behind Rak and Kerrigan?

I think the guy is a quality player who could, eventually, be a starter for someone but probably never going to happen here.

Prefers the 4-3 DE position

"Illinois Mike" coming to DC

Various reports we're about to add this dude to our PS, means someone will be let go

Practice Squad:

Emmanuel Arceneaux (WR-Vikings)
Antwon Bailey (RB)
Tom Compton (OL)
Darryl Gamble (LB-Chargers)
Robert Hughes (FB-Bucs)
DeAngelo Peterson (TE-Rams/released 9/4)
Michael Hoomanawanui (TE-Rams)
Jason Shirley (DL-Panthers)
Doug Worthington (DL)
I remember this guy from Hard Knocks when the Bengals did it. He's massive. I remember they switched him from d-line to o-line. If this is the same person it looks like he's back to d-line.

I coached against him in HS from his sophomore-senior year, he was an unbelievable HS rb. But he is an even better man. Great guy, good head on his shoulders, hes been through a lot of personal trials wouldnt bother me to have him around. Negatives-I heard in NY he couldnt pass protect very well and fumbled a few times.

Re: Practice Squad Tracker

Well, the Hoomanawanui era may be coming to a close as ESPN Boston is reporting he's meeting with the Patriots this morning. Assuming he passes his physical, he's expected to join their 53 man roster today

I've figured out Billy B's master plan. He wants to get rid of all his wide receivers and just put a minimum of 3 or 4 tight ends on the field at all times.

I would have liked to see what he could do at DE for us.
