RG3's "I'm as tough as anybody on the field and I'll fight for every yard" mentality ruined his entire career. The best ability is availability.

Re: QB Prospects Thread
Big facts. RG3 scared me off mobile quarterbacks lmao. I don't want to see any 200 lb qb refusing to slide just to prove a point.

The impression that players at every position are much bigger and stronger than previous generations is not always true. Sometimes the ideal body type for today’s game is actually smaller. https://operations.nfl.com/inside-fo...he-nfl-player/ take that with all the new rules since cunninghams days to protect the QB and i think its very comparable

Anyway, are NFL players that much bigger than SEC football players? I mean I know they are the elite of the elite, but it's not like he'll have LSU or AZ State players protecting him either. |

A front office exuding competence is so weird.

Re: QB Prospects Thread
Burrow, Herbert, Cousins all injured last year. None are considered runners. Rodgers went out for the year taking a damn snap. Tons of guys at all different positions big and small, fast and slow, get injured every single week. It is a violent sport. WR’s are running full speed and in the absolute most vulnerable positions and are usually skinny and fast, but 300 pound lineman who run nowhere get hurt just as often. The whole he is skinny and runs so he is going to get hurt is absolute hogwash.

Are we seriously not going to draft a stud qb because he's 6'4" and 210 lbs because he COULD get hurt since he's smaller? Huh? We are still hungover from the RG3 effect with this attitude. Any qb could get hurt. Daniels is superb at evading the pass rush which will also help with avoiding devastating blind side hits. This is not Penix with injuries. Kid's injury history is quite good with 2 years in the SEC even and 5 in D1 football. Massive difference in defensive players v. Big XII with RG3. |

Please let me know if you can watch the above video. If so, I'll just assume that a big blank white space that I can't watch myself, means it's posted right.

Re: QB Prospects Thread
The last thing I want is a running QB. Yes be able to get out of pocket to avoid pressure, be athletic and be able to make plays off script.
You must win from the pocket passing the ball. Don’t be what happened to Anthony Richardson last year, all that does is bring us back to square one. You can give Lamar Jackson the top scoring defense in the league AND a top five running game. Every god damn year in the playoffs defensive coordinator do the samething “beat me from the pocket Lamar” and he comes up short. Pass that type of player
