Re: MILE HIGH THRILLER POST GAME
I haven't looked, but I can imagine the gameday thread during the game must have been a heckuva rollercoaster ride!
2-0 is a good start. |

It was replete with homicidal ideation, utter despondency, and cruel accusations. . . until the 21-3 fumble started the turnaround and set loose wild overestimations and giddy predictions, which then turned into bitter recriminations on the failed Hail Mary knockdown, finally ending in grudging acknowledgment that we had won. Re: MILE HIGH THRILLER POST GAME
I had us getting blown once it was 21-3 we were playing like crap and looked slow and confused.. anybody that says we were gonna win down 21-3 is telling a fib😀.. Jamin Davis forced fumble that could have been a facemask turned the game around .. we got lucky on several penalties that went our way .. oh I’m happy we won BUT this is not gonna work every week … let’s see if RON can get this team off to better starts .. I’m not saying we should be perfect but we can’t go down 21 to bad teams then decide to play …

Yup. We are not negative because we aren’t happy with struggling against bad teams. This team has a quarterback and an OC that are providing us with serious hope for the future. You are 100 percent right Rik. This kind of play is not sustainable against good teams. But this is the new owners first year and he had zero to do with this past offseason. Going forward the guy has a boatload of cap space, a QB, an OC, weapons out the wazoo, and one of the best dlines in football. Give him an offseason to spend and another draft and we are going to be a damn good team. I just think that next year is the year. Pretty sure that would constitute real positivity and keeping it real. Been saying for a while the most important thing this year is seeing Sam grow and become our quarterback of the future. We are watching it happen. |

Re: MILE HIGH THRILLER POST GAME
My son is a Vikings fan, so I root hard for them (for him). Watching Cousins on Thursday; every time he’s hit from behind he fumbles. Not Sam! Howell took two vicious hits from behind today that I was sure would result in a fumble, and he held on both times. The one he did cough up, he did so because he was just beginning his throwing motion. Anyway, all of this is a lot of words for “I’m really impressed with ‘Howell’ he hangs on to the ball.”

Re: MILE HIGH THRILLER POST GAME
Not a great first quarter and a half (offense and defense - but mostly defense).
The LBs (and Chase) made the play that turned the tables. The offense looked pretty damn good most of the game (yes, that includes the O-line). The defense looked pretty damn good most of the game (yes, that includes C Young). Maybe it was luck, or just maybe, the coaches made the necessary adjustments to pull this game out...probably not luck. It's definitely a jaded fan base (warranted). The doom and gloom and the willingness to give up after 7 minutes into the first quarter was comical. I hope y'all find some happiness and/or hope somewhere / sometime.lol 2-0 is a fun place to be. Maybe the Bills clean our clocks next week. Whatever...2-1 is pretty good too. |

Re: MILE HIGH THRILLER POST GAME
Maybe this franchise really is turning the corner… it’s hard to get to high on them since we’ve sucked for so long. Hopefully they keep this thing rolling

Re: MILE HIGH THRILLER POST GAME
I hope they favor the Bills by 2 TD's, show total disrespect.

Re: MILE HIGH THRILLER POST GAME
By the way...Logan Thomas scored the TD after J Davis & C Barton turned the ball over (thanks to C Young's pressure). How LT held on to that ball when he got completely blown up is beyond me... That was more than impressive. He deserves some props. That whole sequence of events, that turned the tide of the game, was brought to you by - players a lot of you want outta here...
