Re: Redskins rookie signing thread
None of the top 5 have signed, and before this CBA it would have been out of the question to have him signed until days before training camp. Regardless as others said, he will be signed in plenty of time.

Re: Redskins rookie signing thread
Now I get why RGIII hasn't signed. Just read this tweet that explains it all.

I'm sure there's someone here who wants to hop on the overreaction wagon.

Re: Redskins rookie signing thread
Just look at one of the responses to the tweet, some jagoff predicts Cousins will win the starting job.

No, but none of those other rookies are slated to be starting at the most important position on the field either.

Re: Redskins rookie signing thread
I'm just saying, that none of the top 5 have signed, and we aren't even close to any type of deadline. Sure I am glad that the media has a positive reason, better that than, the kid is upset and wants #1 slot money. But, even if that was the real reason, we wouldn't know it till we get closer to the deadline. Right now it's all just spin and hype.

Re: Redskins rookie signing thread
What is there to negotiate; aren't all rookie salaries all ready set due to where you were picked?

Re: Redskins rookie signing thread
RG3 may sign the type of deal similar to what Cam Newton signed last year. The Panthers gave Newton a basic 22 million dollar guaranteed contract. I can see the Redskins giving Griffin III a deal similar with added incentives.
