I know you're high on Smith but anyone that has worked with or under Ozzie would also be really high on my list.

Let the GM pick the HC, but ideally someone like Ben Johnson or Bobby Slowik who got his NFL coaching start in Washington.

Rivera and JDR are horrendous. Not impressed with Bieniemy, either.

Thank you, my friend. I'm 31 so like many others all I've known is the dark ages. But exciting times are ahead...

EB can go too. I just feel there have GOT TO BE..... better options out there who could and will do more with the talent on this team (OL aside). I don't believe in EB and I absolutely would not mind if he were shown the.door with the rest of the circus.

Raiders are proving that a big change in season can be very beneficial

They've also benefitted from playing one of the two worst teams in the league (Giants) and one of the worst offenses and quarterbacks in the league (Jets). They'll probably get brought back down to earth next week versus the Dolphins.

The difference is they got rid of the cancer that was Josh McDaniels - he is so atrociously bad at being a head coach anybody is an immediate improvement.

Ron is not a good coach but he's better than McDaniels - we always stumble around to average every year. Players respect him whereas they don't respect McDaniels. McDaniels ego was so big he thought he can turn a high-schooler into an All-Pro. That's what did him in.

Let Ron ride out the year, hopefully we keep seeing improvement from Howell and we clean house in the offseason.

I'd love for Kyle Smith to come back as GM in the offseason, we need some fresh blood there. Go find the next Kyle Shanahan for coaching - we need a guy who can maximize our late round draft talent.

If we had just an average defense (not the 2nd to last D in the league), we'd probably be 7-3 right now.

Imagine if the offense wasn't getting it done - and the defense was on the field more. Thank goodness Howell is at least making these losses look respectable...

I wouldn't doubt Magic Johnson wanted to make a change a few weeks ago, but Harris likely wants to hold off until the end of the season.

Yes, a halfway competent staff would have us at 6-4 or 7-3 right now.

Ron isn't better than anyone and neither is del Rio.

They should have been gone WEEKS ago.

Re: Can we get some D - Seahawks post game thread

They need to go however if they do I wouldn’t be surprised if the team collapses and when that happens players could quit or get hurt .. I would not get rid of Ron until season ends however I would move on from JDR .. like today! Ron is the same coach as he has always been .. middle of road type.He hired Eric and the Offense for the most part is playing ok . The D has collapsed completely ( Ron and the front office signed off on trading our top two pass rushers.. so essentially they threw in the towel on the D ) so why not move on from JDR??

I know people hate on Carroll but he is damn good coach. He's in his 70's and has the energy of a guy in his 20's. That rubs off on his team I feel. He's going up and down the sidelines coaching guys up- it matters.

Washington Defense | 2023

Average Yards Allowed Per Play 5.5 T-27th
Scoring Drive Allowed % 56.6% 32nd

PFF STATS

We give up a scoring drive 57% of every drive LMAO! That is COMICAL

With how many first round picks on defense? That final drive yesterday would be the nail in the coffin for any other DC on any other team whose DC’s seat was already on fire, but stubborn Ron will keep him. Why? Because Ron enjoys losing. My God those two are such a detriment to this team. Oh well 7 more games with dumb and dumber.
