Dang that sucks.. We will need to find a pass rusher now unless we sign McPhee

That Cooley is a real hatter! Where does he get off wanting Smith to play the pass and the run in the same game?
How dare he! But yea i agree with you, and him, that there is a need for improvement when it comes to read and react and being in better position against the run. I also think he is still learning and will continue to improve so the least we can do is give him that chance, there is potential there before we relawsr him.

I wonder if Redskins decided to withdraw their offer for Galette (since he is taking a while to make a decision & other teams offering more money) so they can use that money to up their offer for Hankins or McPhee?

Maybe, but it sounded like they were offering him an incentive laden contract, and he didn't want to play on that type of deal.

I think the only reason you actually pull the offer is because you think you're getting closer to landing McPhee.

Isn’t JG much better, and capable of much more, than McPhee? Why does this team want to keep replacing good talent with second rate crap?

Let’s see. Let’s let Garçon and DJAX walk and replace them with Quick and Pryor. How did that work out??

Let’s let Al Morris walk. How’s that worked for us? Our running game has been total GARBAGE

Let’s let Breeland and Fuller go and replace them with Sandrick...yeah....ok.

How much did they spend on McGee and McClain on the defense line last year but passed on Poe and now Hankins? How’s that working

Re: Redskins free agent signings 2018

I'm not sure JG made that much of an impact last year. They have to offer him what they think he is worth. Given the injury history and his production last year (without knowing the parameters of the offer), an incentive laden deal seems appropriate.

Maybe Ryan Anderson is set to take a big step forward, or they have other plans.

Bottom line is they made an offer, apparently he wasn't willing to sign it, and now both sides move on.

See my comments above your post. Bruce Allen is not a qualified GM and his track record says it all.

Re: Redskins free agent signings 2018

We couldn’t have landed Honey Badger at the one year price Houston got him at? Instead we dump money into Sandrick.

We’re sure as hell relying on the draft at this point to fill all of our holes.

It's weird when someone wants the opposite of every decision the Skins make. It makes you think that the opinion is formed as a result of the Skins' actions, not independently of them.
