Clickbait, bro.. The key word in that sentence is "could" - in other words, Sheehan is saying that Miami has the ammo to do it so they can do it, but it does not necessarily mean Miami is considering it, or even if they thought of it.

If they offer 4, it wouldn’t be for our pick...that would be for the first and Burrow

Re: Chase Young or Three First Round Picks?

Miami wants Burrow and there has been some rumors that the Bengals really like Tua and Herbert as well so they could move down.. Don't see it tho.

Also here is a passage from RR This week.

“When you’re in the first five spots, those have to be immediate impact guys. They’re going to be guys that you’re going to put on the field right away and they’re going to play. That’s always been my kind of philosophy,” Rivers said. “Secondly, if you’re going to make a trade and you’re going to go back, that guy that you’re going to take at that spot has to make the kind of impact you need to validate missing an opportunity to take a player that’s a high impact guy. In other words, if you’re going to pass up player A, and you go back, and you take player D, player D has to be equal to player A, you know what I’m saying? Because if player A is going to play for you for 10 years, and player D might not, did you really get value, or did you just get a whole bunch of picks?

“So you’ve got to be able to sit there and say that the next guy that I’m going to take is going to be that high impact guy. And that’s what I’m looking for, that’s what I believe we need. We need a guy just to come in and really change our football team. To me, there’s a few guys on that board that are those kinds of players. I’d like to believe in the back of my mind I know what we want to do. But you’ve got to go through the process.”

Yeah that would make sense. If I'm the Miami GM, it would take a lot to convince me to give up the picks for one player..

… whereas RR just made it clear that it would take a lot to convince him to give up the player for the picks.

Re: Chase Young or Three First Round Picks?

I'm not really sold on any of the QBs this year. If I'm Miami I hold tight at 5 and pick the highest QB left on my board when it gets to our pick.

It's a crapshoot every yr.. Nobody saw Mahomes being this great.. Burrow on tape is Romo like, accurate, smart , and moves better than he looks.

Tua is Wilson like, deadly accurate all over the field and moves well (not as fast as RW) .

Herbert has a cannon but is like a Jay Cutler.. Will make boneheaded throws too often.

You are taking a chance every yr like we did with Haskins last yr etc.

I really think the modified draft setup is going to result in less trades

I agree, I don't see many deals going on now.. In fact there was a report from the Athletic saying no teams have contacted the skins about a deal yet.. That can change of course.

Only 2 weeks until we have the best pass rushing trifecta in the NFL. Get excited!

If we get Chase, this D will be awesome despite what most think. I like our DB’s and S added from FA.

Tua apparently failed a physical according to some GM "in the top 10"
