JK: Viewed as Right tackle. Not spending huge $ to then switch to the left side.

@john_keim How high is Conklin on the #Redskins board? I feel like this would be priority one. He is still a young player and could be the LT for 10 years.

I totally agree with this and glad the Skins aren’t gonna do something dumb like this.

I'd bring Conklin in to replace Moses if it doesn't break the bank. TW likely won't be replaced in FA because there isn't anyone young enough, good enough to warrant the $.

I'd say TE (Hooper), RT (Conklin), LB (Schobert or Littleton) and maybe FS(Harris?) filled through FA, leaving the remaining needs through the draft; TE, WR, LT (multi picks as Warthog says), LB and DB. Any more depth needed, like #2 QB, via cheap FA and lower picks/UDFA. We need to keep cap room to cover any renegotiations (i.e. Scherff) and remaining needs, so going all out in FA isn't sensible to me.

Conklin signed with the Browns, so there goes the top trade partner for Trent.

Per tweet from Smart Choice Football:

“ The #Chargers are in talks with the #Redskins about a Trent Williams trade and they may be closer than people think.”

Chargers would be legit to get Trea Turner and Trent Williams in one off season.

They just franchised Henry to then trade him? I’d love that trade but just not going to happen. We need draft picks for Trent.

There is precedent, but I agree unlikely.

Curious though that Chargers are building up their OL and keeping a good TE with no established QB. Its just pure speculation on my part but I wonder If they are talking to us about a package with TW and the #2 pick?

More likely they want a bone fide LT to get Tom Brady
