Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
I've seen that mascot-eats-cheerleader/dancer thing has been done by the Toronto Raptors, Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks before.

Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
Hilarious.
Great point Pocket$ $traights and I like the sarcasm. Funny how some have forgotten on this sight that last season an angry few wanted Landry (and Carlos Rogers for that matter) traded or at least cut and now all of sudden they have value again. Some people get carried away by their emotions/hate and don't think with logic about a players value. It gets lost how our secondary's play suffered severely last season by Gregg Williams departure and Blache taking over. Greg Williams is a great mentor to the DB's play and is very influential. When the defense was on the field Williams was yelling the DB's coverages right up to the snap. He would change up coverages up to the last second. Blache was brain dead in comparison when it came to the DB's and mentoring them. |

Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
The best thing that could happen (unfortunately) is if some defensive starting lineman goes down for the season so we get another trading partner.
The jets just lost starting NT Kris Jenkins (who I believe was a DT in a 4-3 with carolina at one point. Too bad the press has been making such a fuss that haynesworth doesn't want to play NT...because the Jets would be a great trading partner....especially since they are AFC. I would take a 2nd rounder in a heartbeat for Haynesworth....I really thnk anything short of that would mean he stays on the team for the remainder of the season. Keep in mind a Jets 2nd rounder should be kinda low...they should consider it...just to help US out!

Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
I am sure you and the Giants would like us to trade AH out of the NFC east.
Then you guys can rush for over 200 yards over Golsten, Kemo and Carricker. We need this malcontent this season until we can get a replacement. . |

Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
The Jets aren't going to want a guy that is clearly not suited for NT.

Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
The Jets don't run the same 3-4 we do and their tannanbaum or whatever his name is,said he'll look into all avenues, but that they will look to address D-line.
I believe something is cooking already...They are already speculating how haynesworth could be moved to DE with Poul or whatever moved to Nose...Check out the ganggreen forums and it's nuts on this... The question is...what the hell is shanny/team wanting in compensation? 21 mil back? and or a 2nd rounder...? I had the wheels turning in my head and I can't help but wonder,if they would trade us either Braylon Edwards or santonio Holmes (currently serving 4 game suspension) and already 1 out of the way...I don't think were getting a 2nd rd pick, but i do think we could get a player. And a WR would be an upgrade, despite my thread in the warpath on our WR's being fine... So I was thinking..(it hurts..lol) What if we traded haynesworth for Santonio Holmes? Didn't they just trade for him for a 4th rounder? That would be more than fair value on both ends imo... And I think that Holmes can practice with the team, for the next few weeks while serving his suspension as well..right? Learn the Playbook, etc.? So i ask...Would you guys trade Albert Haynesworth for Santonio Holmes straight up? If this were on the table? I'm thinking Fat Al's destination is more likely to the jets instead of tennessee imo... Maybe Rex's ego thinks he would fit? And maybe the Jets are more desperate and would make a better deal than the titans? Specially after the loss... Who knows? (BTW...they're already looking at possibly trading for Sean Rogers) so the phones are working....

While serving a suspension you are not allowed any contact with the team.

Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
Someone asked if I would trade Albert Haynesworth for Santonio Holmes even up - - if that trade were offered.
The answer is: Hell, Yeah! Holmes is hardly a model citizen or a contender for "Best Teammate In The NFL" for any given season, but I would take him and his ability to play every offensive snap from Game 5 - Game 16 this year and all of next year compared to Haynesworth's ability to play no more than 50% of the defensive snaps. In fact, if Haynesworth's contributions to the next 3 Skins' games are the same as last Sunday night, then Holmes contributions while on a 4-game suspension are about the same.
