I think people who think Cousins being in means he's the future. It's not that, it's just he gives the team the best chance to win any given game. If he turns the corner - bonus, but the qb of the future simply isn't on this roster right now. |

I have a floating holiday tomorrow...think I'm gonna wake up, smoke a joint and take the dog to state park. Somehow talk myself into "it's early, skins can turn it around" convo. Shit this fandom is tough.

We got 9 days to regroup and get healthier, sit down and evaluate were things went wrong and fix them.

Redskins/Giants: Gameday Thread
Our o-line in pass pro was freaking awesome for alot of that game. That is a huge plus. KC had more time than i remember any qb having for ten years and thats a good good sign. Our new kicker is dead on. Crowder and Ross looking like some future ballers. We are a young team. We are being built correctly. The early 9-0 hole just changed everything. We need better qb play than what we saw tonight n Jackson will help that. DHall "should" be ok. Hopefully Lavaou too. Things are not nearly as bad as some think. Even the sloppy losses feel better than they have in recent history. This felt more like growing pains than it felt like just straight up pain. Lets go beat butt fumble next weekend thats all. Got plenty of time to prepare.

This was such a game of inches. And every up for grabs inch went their way. Every bounce and bobble. This was so not a typical Skins blowout. Giants are no better than we are. |

Re: Redskins/Giants: Gameday Thread
We had opportunities to win this game. Kirk just didn't make the throws. Jordan Reed could have had 3 touchdowns tonight if Kirk would pass the ball better. The defense did their job. Special teams still not where they need to be. I do believe this team has improved. We just have to execute a lot better.

Re: Redskins/Giants: Gameday Thread
Some of you guys need to fucking relax. As I said, chances are we were not going on the road on a short week to beat the Giants. They are BETTER.
As far as KC is concerned, he's going to have games like this. He's finding his way as a starter and may or may not be the future. I was bothered more by his 2nd pick than the first one. Eli is better, he's had so many terrible games over the years but he's still a two time SB MVP. But he is clearly better than KC and showed that tonight. But he also has like way more experience too. Blocked punt was horseshit. Plummer getting his manhood taken by a rb is inexcusable. He should have been cut after the pentalty and given a bus ticket home. The offense is clearly missing Jackson. Did Grant even catch a pass? |

Just beat the damn Eagles. If they do, no one will remember this game.

Re: Redskins/Giants: Gameday Thread
I'm already over this game, just gotta avoid espn and halftime shows this weekend. Here's to Eagles losing on Sunday and staying in the cellar by themselves.
