It's all on Ron. He should have got in his ear and told him to run the ball or play action.

he didn't have a great 4QT , arguably the most important quarter

While the Commanders put up a brave fight and led 24-17 in the fourth quarter, the Eagles were simply too much. Jalen Hurts threw three second-half touchdown passes, and while Washington kept Sam Howell clean for most of the day, the second-year quarterback had a dismal fourth quarter. He missed an open Terry McLaurin on back-to-back throws to end one drive, tossed an interception to hand the Eagles a short field on another and was strip-sacked by Haason Reddick on fourth down to put the game out of reach.

I’m sorry, terrry needs to make one of those catches yesterday just like Dotson needed to make that catch last week. The sack by Reddick was 1000% on Wylie as well. He wasn’t perfect, but Howell had a great game. Overal, the protection was good too, there is a correlation there

When the other teams knows you're throwing the ball every single down, they're going to get some on you as you'll get some on them. When you are throwing 52 passes sacks, ints, batted balls, dropped balls are gonna happen. But for Terry to drop two in a row... Brutal.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread

We are on a path towards that weird moment where Sam seems to be the guy, and we have a top 5 pick with a guy like Drake Maye sitting there….

If Maye is available when you are picking, you take him. I like Howell, but I'm not passing on an elite QB prospect if we're picking that high.

Howell is still valuable even if just as the back-up QB. He is on a cheap ass contract.

No need for a QB, 1st pick should be a LT, second pick a RT, 3rd pick a MLB.

Who’s to say Sam won’t be elite, he sure is showing a lot of good things.

I don’t disagree with this at all. I was just pointing out the obvious decision that could be there come draft day.
