While all of the acting seems really good, I was really impressed by the two boys playing the brothers. Haven't checked to see how old they are but they are really believable in their parts. I know they aren't asked to do a whole lot - still, believably playing grief is tough at any age and they nailed it. It was like a knife in the heart when Tommy realized he was starting to put the extra plate down for his sister while setting the table.

So, can we start guessing whodunit? Or would that be too much of a spoiler for those who might want to catch up?

Also, do we know how many episodes? I am assuming we will actually find out who the killer is at the end.

I am wondering if the whole series will be about this murder or they will eventually solve this one and move on

No - It's just about this one murder. 13 episodes - Each representing one day of the investigation (Just looked it up).

Deangelo Vickers... just the name cracks me up. Good episode, the shaving scene had me rollin'.

Yeah should be interesting to see who replaces Michael. Huge shoes to fill.

Haven't heard anything concrete. I've read that he is a possibility, then I read something else just recently that said he's not in the running.

Good the Killing last night. We might have to start a thread on it so we can discuss with spoilers. I like to get folks opinion on whats going on.

Last nights letters, what a curve ball!

Cool suspect tracker:

I liked it but I also had a gut feeling there was more to that character in this than the first three eps had shown. Considering the character seemed to have no point within the narrative of the show. The stuff with him making his to the destination at the end of the bus line was great. One story tool they use is to jump back and forth between character arcs to keep the suspense up. It works well because they don't drag it out though. I am really loving this show.

I agree. It's very much like a novel in that respect.

I just hope that they don't throw one red herring after another because I feel like that could get old pretty quickly. Of course that isn't to say I don't want there to be twists and turns, because I DEFINITELY do, but I think if they eliminate one character after another from the lists of suspects each week it might make it too easy to figure out the killer in the end.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?

Also, I need to try to avoid AMC's message boards because I was glancing through one last week and a poster very matter-of-factly said who the killer was. Obviously they could have been lying/guessing/bluffing/whatever and I hope the person is wrong but it's still annoying.
