Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
At the end of the day, whether we lose by 5 or 50 a loss is a loss. The bigger concerns are Campbell's confidence (not worried about that) and Smoot and Rogers' health. The latter is a bigger worry. Torrence is a nice story, but as much as we like to hate Rogers here he's way way way way way way way way better than Leigh Torrence

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
I know Joe isn't much on fire and brimstone these days, but if today's little scrimmage doesn't inspire the wrath of God down on the team, we may really be dealing with a bigger issue than a depleted O-Line. I'm starting to wonder if this entire team suffers from a Heart Condition.

Ohio State would kick our ass now. Tressle is a better coach than Gibbs to be honest. He is more innovative and a hell of a lot better at making adjustments, at least better than Gibbs II.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
Are you really going to tell me that Brunell is better than Campbell? I'm not talking about today, as he's clearly going through the ringer, but maybe you ought to go back and check some game logs. Or better yet watch the "highlights" of the GB game, and see how many favors the receivers were doing for Jason.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
If we lose today, we pretty much have no chance at a wild card. With this loss, we will drop down in the NFC tremedously. We blew out the Lions and the Lions have a better record than us!

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
The Patriots offense is a prime example of what happens when you field the best offensive line in the league. They can send four or five guys out on passing routes on every play and virtually guarantee that someone will be open each and every time. Meanwhile Brady sits back and takes his sweet time picking which one to toss to.
If ever there was an argument for dumping every last bit of time, effort and cash into your offensive line, the Patriots are it.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
I'm sick of our coaching staff getting hurt and fumbling the ball

Why is Brady still in the game?

As long as they keep brady in why not send some massive blitzes?

I would LOVE to see this team get fired up over a loss. Stop taking it so damn easy like "Oh well, we didn't win but we'll look ahead to next week". No. Screw that. Get messed up. Get riled up over a loss. Take it hard. I wanna see these guys come out LIT every week, especially after a thrashing like this. Showing some fire, emotion and passion about a loss shows that you really love the game and you'll do anything (within reason) to win. All this pussyfooting around losses is such a turn off.
