Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

yeah i mean i think its crazy for someone to allege that, but to take anoymous post on a message board that serious seems like a waste of time. It in a way brings light to the situation first, more people know about it know and secondly in some sick sense seems to legitimize it by the party (Hefty) strong response in repressing it. I hope FIGJAM finds what he is looking for. I think I understand a little more if these messages were posted on his sponser's boards or sending emails to sponsers or just others in general where it may be defamation, but to be in yahoo...i dont know how serious anyone takes that stuff. Ive slandered JC, Portis pretty bad here

I with Mickelson more. I despise most of those goddamned "typical, average people" who posts their shit on Yahoo!'s comment page. It just reminds me that normal people are rough folks, despite whatever they think their "ideal selves" are. Sheesh, there's are bitches who mock Sidney Crosby with statements that would rile anyone up who isn't a troll.

Just yesterday, I was destroying a dude who mentioned something about silicone dioxide, which not make sense under the chemical naming conventions and he apparently didn't know about silicon.

And Yahoo! News is bushleague, because they really like to take liberties when editing articles.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

Chemical "illiteracy" and the press.

Sure, I can understand not wanting to down nasty chemicals. But what I cannot stand are the principles commonly used by the "press"(and that includes associated content bitches who just don't know their shit"). Those principles are "you use them for other purposes that are aesthetically nauseating" and "they come from nasty sounding sources".

Wikipedia is more reliable that batshit journalists like the following

Silicon dioxide is that wonderful thing that can take on many forms. It can harm you physically, but that depends on its structure and size(i.e glass, sand, quartz). When it's small and produced properly, it just gets pooped out. It hardly reacts chemically with anything.

F... not being able to fall asleep. I was tossing and turning til 3am last night, tired as all hell, had to get up at 6. Once I finally did manage to sleep I woke up every half hour or so. WTF

It's gonna be a grumpy day.

I like to add hangers for your clothes. I have had a life long battle with them. I can not stand them!

Or waking up at like 1-2am, cuz I end up falling back asleep around 5, and my alarm goes off at 5:30. How I wish I could just sleep 7-8 hours straight and feel refreshed, but that rarely if ever happens.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

Normally I'm a head hits the pillow, see you in 8 hours kinda guy. Lucky for me I don't deal with many restless nights, not sure what the deal was last night. Just one of those things I guess.

Yeah same here. Woke up at 3:30 this morning, and my alarm is set for 4:30. So of course I go back to sleep, but then I oversleep and get up at 5:30. Granted, I set my alarm for 4:30 but I aim to get up at 5, since it usually takes me a while to wake up.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

Woke up at 4:00 could get back to sleep until ~6:00 (remember seeing the clock at 5:45). Alarm set for 6:15. Blechhh.

Unfortunately, an all to common occurrence for me.
