re: What Shows Are You Watching?

Anybody watch Onion Sportsdome on Comedy Central? I managed to catch a few minutes of it the other day, haven't watched the whole show yet but I thought the few minutes I did catch were pretty good. It's about time somebody capitalized on the comedic aspect of sports, there's no shortage of it online but tv wise the only sports coverage is the serious aspect of it like ESPN, NFLN, NHLN, NBAN, MLBN, VS, all the sports programs on HBO, Showtime, etc.

Anyone watching the show from Ricky Gervais, "An Idiot Abroad" on the science channel? It is freakin hilarious.

No but I'll have to check that out, he's a funny dude, loved his cameo on The Office a few weeks ago.

I really like it. I always like seeing some punk kid who thinks they're so tough crumble in about 2 seconds once the doors to the prison close behind them. And it's good to see how the program helps turn around most of the kids.

Not a "new" show but the new season of Parks & Rec has been hilarious. That show is firing on all cylinders.

I'm kinda digging Perfect Couples too. I was ready to give up on it after the lame first episode but it's really picked up since then.

The original english version of Skins. It's brilliant and available on Netflix.

I finally caught this show and I am PISSED that my OnDemand currently only has two episodes because they were both f'ing hysterical! I think part of it for me is that I tend to think like Karl in certain situations but he just takes it to a whole new level.

Perfect Couples is a really good show. Hopefully it has some staying power.

Hulu - Perfect Couples: Pilot - Watch the full episode now.

Caught some "portlandia" shows this weekend on IFC, freaking hilarious. its like a mix btw arrested development (style wise) and mr. show (format comedy approach only without the joke misfires/ sometimes cross strikes out for me)

I agree. I was just going to post that. Olivia Munn is still such a dork too, which I love (Attack of the Show in case you didn't know).

I laugh as much at that show as I do the typical Thursday night lineup (Community, Office, 30 Rock). ESPECIALLY if you're married or in a serious relationship, you'll TOTALLY connect with this show.

I've tried SO hard to like that show because I hate when I give up on a show and a year later people are like, "Dude, haven't you been watching?!" I've seen three episodes and I don't think I've laughed once. Is it just one of those off-humor things that I just don't get or is it REALLY that unfunny?

i saw the one when he was stuck in the wall, fairly funny. I am really bad about being a religious TV watcher.
